Screen black on tablet less than yr old cant find manual

  1. Check the phone or tablet, charger, and USB cable. Verify the phone, tablet, charger, and USB cable have no physical or liquid damage.
Check the USB connections for corrosion and bent pins. Inspect the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI). The LDI should be solid white, or white with pink or purple X's. The USB connection should be firm with very little mobility.
Remove any cases or other accessories that may cover the charging port or buttons.
    1. Remove the battery (certain devices only). On devices with removable batteries, remove the battery for 60 seconds and then reinsert it.
    2. Charge the phone or tablet. Connect and charge the phone or tablet using the supplied charger for at least 1 hour. The battery charging indicator may take up to 10 minutes to appear on the display.
    3. Restart the phone or tablet. Disconnect the phone or tablet and then attempt to turn it on by holding the Power key (or Side key) and Volume down key for 15-20 seconds. The Samsung Galaxy logo will appear.

Okay. When i plug in my charger to my phone, it will not charge for anything! It may be a possibility that i spilled some yogurt on it also /: but there is nothing wrong with the phone itself.. Like it...

Did spill the yogurt on the phone, or on the charger?

What happend when you plugged in the charger, specifically? Did your phone turn off, if not, were there any changes on the display, did the battery bars blink?

Also, if this is your AC charger for inside your home, do you have a car charger and have you tried it? If your car charger works, or if you are able to borrow someone's charger and IT works, then YOUR charger needs to be replaced. Best Buy, Wal Mart Electronic dept,or Staples, Office Depot, all these retail outlets sell replacement AC and DC ( 12v battery ) chargers. Cellphone chargers are notoriously easy to break, its not unusual to have to replace it during the life of any given phone.

You could try wiggling the connector, and watching the display to see if you have intermittent contact. Most of the ones I've had to replace were like that. They would only work if I pushed in the connector, or held it a certain way. If I just hooked it up and left it, it would not make a connection to the juice. Watch the display closely as your wiggling. You are looking to see if the display light up, or the battery bars to blink. If you can see it connect, even intermittently, you know your phone, and its ability to charge is okay,

Does not work, we tired a new battery, but no help.

Instructions
    Technical Difficulties
  1. If the phone doesn't turn on, make sure battery is charged and fully plugged into phone. Remove battery from phone and use rag to brush away dirt that may interfere with connection. Reconnect and try again. If using cigarette-lighter adapter, make sure it's properly plugged in. Make sure charger is properly plugged into outlet and into battery.

  2. When the battery doesn't charge, plug lamp or other electrical device into outlet to verify that outlet works. Borrow friend's charger to see if charger or battery is problem. Replace charger or battery if necessary.

  3. In case the phone gets wet, remove the battery from the phone and allow both to dry thoroughly. If rust or corrosion develops, wipe it off with a stiff brush. If phone still does not work, replace it.

  4. Should the display not be working, try getting it to room temperature, extremely cold or warm conditions may affect display functions.

  5. If the keys don't work, look for a display of a symbol that looks like a lock. The keypad may be locked. The display often tells you how to unlock it. If not, check owner's manual.

Hello,

Intense heat will damage or destroy the Battery. Also, heat will damage or destroy the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) by melting the crystal.

Try the phone with battery charger connected. With Charger connected and powering the phone, try to turn on. The Back light is usually driven by LED s which are robust and can sustain the Dryer heat.

If the phone back light comes on, the the phone electronics is probably OK and will still work as a phone.
The Battery can be replaced, but there is no easy way to replace a bad display.

So, Power with Charger, look for light, try dialing without display.

  • If above suggestions fails , then its better to approach an authorized service center

Hope this helps.

Comp will not turn on also see lightning bolt display

Hi All,

This happens because of static energy storing in the motherboard components.

We can try power drain to resolve this issue.

Try doing power drain by taking out the battery & keep holding down the power button for complete one minute to drain out the power from the computer components. Restart the computer after putting the battery in.
Try restarting the computer only with the AC power, without the battery & vice-versa.

That should resolve the issue, if the issue persists, then you have to contact service center.

Hope that information helped you!!

SIM not recognized

I had the same problem with charging, I found that my car charger and via USB charged the phone but not my home charger. Give that a try, if it works with either one of them you will have to send it to Motoservice center and they will fix the internal connection problem. (save your money on buying new batteries and chargers) Make sure that the phone is not locked to a network, or make sure that the SIM has not expired and has plenty of credit.
