SOURCE: water leaking on my fisher paykel washer. does it

Hi, It is due to a split in the flexible hose from the bowl to the pump. When machine is working, the split opens and closes, but when not operating it can be closed up enough to prevent seeing it leaking. .

Hello and welcome. Couple things to check first-

Tip the machine back and look underneath at the water pump, if it is wet or appears crusty/corroded, you probably have a shorted pump that took the machine control out along with it. Sometimes you can just replace the pump but on those models the board can become a casualty. Also look at the control itself and check for water in the pan area underneath it. Sometimes the mixing chamber thermistor leaks and it will short out the machine control. Whenever you replace the control, a new seal should be put on the thermistor. (easy and cheap insurance)

You might want to start with a fisher paykel gwl11 service manual:

SOURCE: Fisher Paykel Intuitive Eco Washer is squealing

You need to pull out the washer, TURN OFF THE WATER, then take the water hoses off the back of the washer. Check the screens inside the water inlets for debris. If that doesn't fix the problem you may need to ask fisher paykel if it's safe to put a chemical like limeaway in those holes to remove hard water deposits that have built up inside the valves.

Fisher and paykel keeps blowing fuses, code 37, I have replaced the pump already

Yes the original bad pump has damaged the drain pump circuit on the control board.

Fisher & paykel washer no power going to it

No reset button. There is a fuse it is soldered on & part of the main control board. They don't blow the fuse for no reason, so you need to be able to test & check everything to find out why the fuse blew (if it has) If you just replace the control board without checking then there is a good chance it may blow the new board as well. There will be no warranty on the board in that case. You really need to call a repair company who will test everything first.

How do you replace the fuse on the control board

The fuse on the CCU control board cannot be replaced.
Unless you would have a fuse that blew from age, replacing would not solve the reason why the fuse blew. A new one could equally blow when you start the machine.

Did they add a fuse and fuse holder to the pump motor wiring? If not it may have blown the 6.3 A fuse on the motor control board as mine did before I replaced the pump... Did you replace the pump yourself or had a service man do it? If you had someone replace the pump, a return warranty servicve call is in order. If you replaced it yourself you may need a motor control board...$135 + shipping.. Arggh!

CIRCUIT BOARD GONE OUT

Do not be unhappy with your machine. Believe me, many brands that cost much more than the Fisher & Paykel have circut boards go out on them as well. First of all you machine is still in warranty if it is only one and a half years old since the machine has a two year warranty. Other manufacturers only have one year even if they cost much more to purchase. Be thankful that you are entitled to a repair at NO Charge! I have sold appliances for 34 years and sell multible brand names. I can assure you that based on the lack of quality manufacturers have been delivering to the public over the last ten years you have made the best desicion when you purchased your Fisher & Paykel. Most washers have between 350 and 400 parts in them to create a potential of failure. the Fisher & Paykel has only around 70 parts total. We have sold them for over ten years and it is the best product in our store bar none! Remember, you are still in warranty so your repair will cost you nothing!

Fisher & paykel gwl11 power does not come up.

The fuse is built onto the control board. It is not designed to be replaced. My 3 year old machine lost the water pump and blew the fuse. About $375 to fix. I am buying the new pump and will attempt to replace the fuse on the board. I hope there are no other bad components.
