A fuse blew on my washer and the repair man said the entire board would have to be replaced at a cost of 550 does anyone know how to replace just the fuse
SOURCE: water leaking on my fisher paykel washer. does it
Hi, It is due to a split in the flexible hose from the bowl to the pump. When machine is working, the split opens and closes, but when not operating it can be closed up enough to prevent seeing it leaking. .

Hello and welcome. Couple things to check first-
Tip the machine back and look underneath at the water pump, if it is wet or appears crusty/corroded, you probably have a shorted pump that took the machine control out along with it. Sometimes you can just replace the pump but on those models the board can become a casualty. Also look at the control itself and check for water in the pan area underneath it. Sometimes the mixing chamber thermistor leaks and it will short out the machine control. Whenever you replace the control, a new seal should be put on the thermistor. (easy and cheap insurance)
You might want to start with a fisher paykel gwl11 service manual:

You need to pull out the washer, TURN OFF THE WATER, then take the water hoses off the back of the washer. Check the screens inside the water inlets for debris. If that doesn't fix the problem you may need to ask fisher paykel if it's safe to put a chemical like limeaway in those holes to remove hard water deposits that have built up inside the valves.
