I can't get the sound to work. It is ok with headphones only.

Check the internal speaker. If it is OK, then check and replace the earphone socket at TV.

Getting the speakers probably won't be easy but as far as the remote goes maybe a place like Sears can order it for you since they sold these TV's as well as Kmart.

Try to get other disk to read if you can not you may have a lens problem and will have to clean it. I would suggest using a fiber optic cleaning kit. You can find them on-line I beleive.

Marantz pm 7200 loudspeakers do not cut off when headphones pugged in
Some amps have a button which you press to mute the speakers when the headphones are plugged in. Sometimes marked "Speakers on off". If it hasn't then a new headphone socket would not be expensive to fit. As long as the amp producers sound I don't see any future problems. The previous owner may have used the headphone socket a lot, and simply wore it out!

My sound works normally when I do not have my earplugs plugged in but when i do the sound is about 33% of what it should be
Now I will say that just upgrading your headphone's alone will certainly improve the ipod touch's sound greatly but if you want a proper more dare I say "TRUE" sound then you can't go wrong with investing in something like the "NU Force Icon" & make sure you pair them with the correct type of headphone's... something clear & true maybe like the "Monster copper's" or check out some "Grado's" or whatever takes your fancy as theres plenty of choice's you can make in the Headphone market & even in the portable headphone amp market too.
But IMHO the ipod touch 3g with its supplied bog standard apple headphones might either give you a sore head or might make you want to chop off your own head as they sound that bad even with a lossless track or 320kb mp3.

So once you add your preferred choices of portable headphone amp & headphone combo = you should be quite happy with the resulting sound oh & also please don't mess with the ipods EQ settings as on FLAT

My tuner will not work! I've had this unit for 4 years & it's always worked perfectly. Then yesterday, the tuner stopped working. "Tuning" flashes on-screen intermittently & no...
1. Verify the source of the signal - Look for any antennas that may have been hooked up, and verify connection has not been moved or removed.
2. Test with a different output by plugging in some headphones, and recheck the volume through the headphones.
3. Check that the A/B switch for the speakers has not been moved, and that they are switched to the correct speakers.
4. Try AM and FM for any signals both with speakers and then headphones.

Speakers are ok but headphone is not working
OK. Speaker works/headphones don't! Sultanrajia, what is refering to! Audio Amp, play-back record, computer, radio, TV, all communication equipment. what. It could be broken wire on the headphone jack plug or it could the headphone aren't working. Maybe some bad wire in the headphone cable, faulty plugs.

By the way, do have a Night Visison optic devise that it can take a look into the night. Also, how does the spearkers and headphone work with the Night Vision Optics? stewbison

I have no sound on my pc
Check the sound drivers are loaded or not from control panel-system-hardware-device manager. If not load your MB Driver CD in CD tray & dble click & reinstall driver. If this also does not work & device manager says proper drivers are installed then check your speakers/headphones by plugging into a CD player. If they are OK then your sound hardware is kaput. Install a sound card on a PCI slot to get sound from your PC.

I have a Marshall MG100HDFX 100-Watt Amplifier half stack (solid state) and I now am not getting ANY sound out of the amp. I changed the fuse and the power module behind the fan, and still no sound,...
plug headphone in the effects send jack...If you get somme sound (won't be too loud) there, that means preamp sections are probably ok. Drive a signal into the effects return jack... If power amp responds, it is OK... If both these are OK, then suspect the switch contacts on these two jacks that forward the preamp to the power amp when effects unit is NOT plugged in.
These contacts are a chronic problem.

Peavey minx 110 no sound from main speaker but headphone jack is ok. speaker wires are attached ok.everything on the board appears to be in good shape.amp powers up and all controls work great through...
Inside the headphone jack is a built in switching mechanism. It is there to cut off the sound to the speaker when you are using headphones to practice quietly. For some reason or another it seems as if this is no longer working correctly. One of the causes of this can be bad solder joints on the circuit board where this jack is located. Another cause is a failure of the jack itself. If you are capable, Take the circuit board out and have a look. Hope this helps.

1st off ,check the wire to the speaker. If that's ok then your headphone jack is broken inside. Peavey and others use cheesy headphone jacks.
