Kenmore Elite Grill will not start

I was using my Kenmore Elite 6 burner grill last night and the tank ran out of gas. I had it refilled and hooked it back up as normal today. Now I can't get the gas to flow to the burners. Any suggestions? I have checked the connections and they all seem fine. Please reply back to me via email at [email protected]. Thanks!

I don't know where the reset button is.

My problem is similar; it does start BUT produces very low heat. After five minutes it may be up to 150 degrees. I've shut down, disconected the tank , and waited five to ten minutes to resrat. Sometimes it works; other times it does not. I've taken the grill apart and cleaned. Same results.

The gas regulator that attaches to the tank may be bad.

Relace your propane regulator, they do go bad form sitting around, had the same problem you have. you should be able to disconnect from the grill, turn on the regulator and smell the propane, if not it's bad.

Just hooked up new propane tank and grill won't ignite either with starter or matches

Turn gas tank off and disconnect from grill. Check burners to ensure there is no blockage and reconnect tank.Open gas tank slowly, some grills have a sensor to detect leaks and automatically shut off gas. Opening the tank fast can cause this safty device to falsely read the sudden gas flow as a leak. If you still can't light the grill check all fittings for a leak using soapy water.

Grill does noty get hot

try opening the tank very slowly. if you open it too quickly the overfill protection devise in the tank will restrict the gas flow to the burners. hope this helps.

Weak Flames on Propane Grill

It is possible that your burners are clogged. Clean the burner ports with a paperclip (not a toothpick).

Glas flow will almost shut down once i turn on the second burner

hi my name is mark, let me see if i understand your problem. you light the 1st burner and get a good flame. you light the 2nd burner with the 1st burner lite and it starves both burners of gas. if this grill is a lp grill and you have propane in the tank. the regulater is the problem.

KENMORE Gas Grill 141-152210 Kenmore 437 sq. in cooking will only heat to 250 degrees

sudsy, this exact same thing would happen to me every time I changed a tank. I know it's nothing to do with the grill itself. I would have to seat and reseat the regulator hose to the tank a couple of times before it would start heating normally. Your model has 3 burners and I suspect that the flame is real low on each one even on the high setting. Try connecting and disconnecting the tank a couple of times and see if it comes to life. If worse comes to worse you can order a new regulator hose. Part number P3632L. Catriver..post back.
