Driver for mainboard

Hello visit the manufactures site of the pc, or the mainboard manufactures site, in search for the lan driver.
Try enter the pc brand or mainboard number in google seach.
This is sometimes most helpfull.
Try to avoid the pages where you have to pay for the driver.
The manufactures page is always free.

Try to download the LAN driver, but please unzip the file before you install.

You can`t use xp drivers for windows 7, it does not work that way.
This mainboard is from the year 2002, and you probably can`t find any drivers for windows 7.
The mainboard is too old, for the windows system.
Continue using windows xp, or buy a new mainboard or pc.

Hello your mainboard must have a model number printed in.

You can install this free software to find detailed info:

http://www.piriform.com/speccy

Save the installation file on a usb drive and install it on your pc.

When you find the mainboard number use google search in seach for the drivers.

The INTEL support site can sometimes be helpfull:

Any file from here needs to be unziped before you install.

You have to know what mainboard number you have.Then seach for the driver.

Its maybe the realtek lan driver but i am not sure.
Because you have not written the mainboard number.

Hi, you can download the drivers here:

Please select your windows version.
Select the lan driver and click on global for download.
Unzip the file before installation.

You may also need the driver for the chipset.
Update the other drivers if some missing.

here you will find a 1394 net adapter ...which is a driver for ethernet adapter (Lan) if you were talking about IEEE 1394...for fire wire ...this might be different

try to re-install you network driver.
go to control panel, system maintenance, device manager. uninstall the previous driver downloaded on your machine then boot up machine. once done, install your network driver.

check that proper driver is installed, in the device manager that shows excmlatory mark that indicates proper driver not been installed, update the driver it will works
