Hi, Whenever i on my pocket pc it shows a warning message and that is Unrecognized card and the total message is "Enter the name of the device for this card. for information , see the card manufacture's documentation." I am a hutch user in india and i also see the documents but there is nothing about this. so what can i do , plz suggest me.

Hello Ric777, I would suspect the mainboard of your pda at first. But for the begining you should try to clean the contacts of your sim slot and check to see if all of them connect properly to the sim card. If all of them do connect properly, my second gues would be that the pda doesn't power on the sim card. Like memory cards sim's need to be powered first in order to work. Most pda that have this problem fail to initialise a sim because they can't suply the 3.3 or 2.7 volts needed due to a hardware mailfunction. However this test should be runned by a service center, they will have to dissasemble your pda in order to check these. In your case, you can make a hard reset and check the sim card pins in the pda. If this doesn't help, you will need service assistance. I'm sorry for not being able to help further. Good luck.

Usually, and not to say this is going to solve your problem. I have always experienced when moving sd cards from device to device, most are not hot swapable. Meaning that you would have to format your sd card to make it work in your other device. NOTE; This will erase ALL data on the SD card.
