Pioneer VSX-818V-k wont work with PS3 or AT&T U-Verse

I Have a PS3, AT&T U-verse HDDVR and a VIZIO 47" TV all connected and working just fine with HDMI. I added a pioneer VSX-818V-k and I have no video or Audio. When I set the reciever to TV it says the TV cannot support HDCP ERR(H1001) and when I go to to DVD/BD on the reciever for the PS3 I have a black screen. Please help.

I have the same Problem. I have a Sony TV, the PS3 works fine with the HDMI input. However, if I take the HDMI input to the Pioneer VSX-818V and the HDMI output tot he TV I get a black screen. My solution was to take the HDMI from the PS3 direct to the TV, and then use the Optical digital output from the PS3 to the Pioneer optical digital input. Not really ideal solution, but it works.

So, Is it best to just run all HDMI and component cables to the TV and a Optical Digital Output from the TV to the receiver?

Connectivity

you have to make sure you are on the theater mode on your amp. that's the only time that the center speaker works

Just got att u-verse and the digital audio output is distorted.

I'd run this by ATT.

If the audio output digital feed is strong enough for the receiver to accept it then the actual audio on the digital carrier is probably the problem. If there is a coaxial output on the cable box, I'd try that, too, to isolate the optical and HDMI as the problem or not.

Or shoot the cable audio into the place your Blu-Ray is connected to prove if it works the same or different.

Problem for Pioneer VSX-818V-K 5.1 Channels Receiver Surround sound doesn't work, display reads 2CH IN,surround speakers are enabled, automatic test will find surrand speakers

Test with an surround sound media ie. Blu-ray or DVD)_. Disconnect the front and all other speakers that are working to see if sound from the missing speakers are heard. If this doesn't work then start by tracing and checking all the wires from the receiver to the speakers for bad/shorted/open connections.

PLEASE VOTE IF THIS WAS HELPFUL. THANKS & GOOD LUCK.

Pioneer vsx-519 no sound from center and surround

Make sure that the sound field/programme you have selected is dolby digital not stereo.(On the amp)
You also need to check on the display that is says DIGITAL not ANOLOUGE, as only a digital input, Optical fibre cable, HDMI, COAX will be a digital signal.
If you are using red and white rca connectors, it is not going to work, as this is an Anolouge signal.

No Sound from Subwoofer

The original Pioneer subwoofer has its own amplifier built in to the speaker, so the only cable required on the original speaker is a single RCA cable. To connect a different brand subwoofer to the Pioneer you will have to make sure that you have a subwoofer with the same specs. It will need its own built in amp to work, as you can only connect it with one RCA

When I turn my 32" vizio on I get no signal sign. I have my tv connected with 12 ft HDMI to U-Verse Mot cable box. My cable is in the wall and very difficult to replace.

It could be that you have it set to the wrong input. Use the input button on your remote control to go through all the different inputs, unti you find the right one.

U-verse remote code for a Vizio HDTV

1343 is the closest one I've found that works, it will turn the TV off and on, control the volume, and enables mute. The only other thing it doesn't do is change the video input, I'm still working on finding that. If this helps, please give me some kudos.
