Motorola V3 battery suddenly empty

I have a motorola V3 i bought a new battery because the unit can't be charge and power on so i bought a new one... i chaged the battery and it shows charging after it was full charge i extend it for another 1hr of charging after that i used it for an hours when the has only 1/2 of its charge suddenly the unit shutdown. can youn help me regarding this problem? i would appreciate your positive response.

You really need to Upgrade to a New Phone. My RAZR did the Same thing for over a Year and a Half until the Flip screen went Completely Blank.

My razr v3 died yesterday. tried all night charging, still dead. no juice to turn on. bought 2 years ago, worth new battery?
Well... I would say no.. Not worth battery.. I had the same thing happen to me where my phone wouldn't charge and we bought a new battery for $50.00 and then we find out my phone is shot.. so I would strongly recommend getting a new phone..
