Maybe have to replace a few capacitors inside monitor. Or maybe as block fuse.

Monitor won't turn on after a few hours of being shut off

If it EVER works, then the problem is not a failed part, but a weak part. The most likely component type to give you such problems are capacitors. But very few repair techs know how to find such problems, and even fewer have the equipment needed to find the bad one(s) in-circuit. The failure mode is high ESR (ESR means Equivalent Series Resistance). The lower the ESR, the better. Capacitors with high ESR cannot stabilize circuits which demand high pulse currents, such as in switch mode power supplies.

Samsung syncmaster 275t won't start - what to do?

The Samsung monitor is okay, the problem is a compatability issue between the laptop and monitor. The VGA toDVI is the problem you are converting a analog signal to digital, the signal level degrades when that is attempted. If I understand this the laptop puts out the analog signal "VGA" and the monitor has the DVI input, "digital" The only other suggestion is turn off the laptop screen to see if the monitor will work.

Monitor won't go on

What to you mean by Monitor won't go on? Are you saying the power on the monitor will not turn on? Are you saying the Monitor is on, but there is nothing showing on the screen? Also it would help if we know what kind of computer and what operating system.

Samsung T220hd won't turn back on from standby

Power up issues on the T220HD monitor are caused by a failure of the capacitors on the IP-49135b power supply board that this unit uses. The repair is easy, you just need to replace the 7 failed capacitors and the unit should be as good as new. Here is a link to some information showing what needs to be replaced to repair the power supply board.

My monitor is blurry and everytime i turn it off for 20 - 30 mins it comes back, but for only a short time then it gets blurry again, my monitor is ft 500. can't see the focus hole.

I would follow these steps in order. Stop if one solves the problem.

Are you using any cable extenders or after market video cables? If so
try without them or with a different cable. If not go to next step.

Try removing and reseating the video cable (turn the computer and
monitor off first).

Try resetting the monitor to it's default state (you'd have to read
the manual for that)

Try removing and re-seating the video card (turn the computer off to
try that)

Try running the monitor at a different resolution (and/or a different
refresh rate.)

Try updating your video card drivers.

Try a different video card

Try a different monitor.
