Sony acid music studio 9.0 won't start in windows 7

Uninstall the software. Reboot and re-install the program. During the re-install if prompted to discard all setups press yes. Try to have a clean re-install.

You can use the Task Manager in Windows to view computer resources and memory usage if you suspect something dealing with resources.

From the looks of it there's no Vista support yet. Pinnacle Systems needs to come out with somekind of patch soon. I've been looking for an hour as well. Couldn't find anything but people discussing the fact that they need the patch badly. On the Pinnacle site there's a link to software for Dazzle Video Creator 9 but it leads to an error page.

I guess you'll have to watch carefully when an update arrives.
Or try to find something of an automatic update feature in the software, maybe it'll find something.

You can try simpler programs such as Windows Movie Maker but I don't think it suits your needs when you want to edit stuff.

Another solution might be Sony Vegas.

if you paid for the program contact sony in australia and they will help you out. i have also found that if i don't use mine for sometime i have to reregister it. bit ridiculous

Not sure if you'll can get a free version of Sony Music Studio 9 (The newest version), I got mine for $26 bucks, from Sony when it was first released. It costs around $70 now. I ran across Acid Music Studio 8 for $9.99, http://www.outletpc.com/yx1955-855309672669-sony-acid-music-studio-80.html that's the best deal around!

Is your win 7 64 or 32 bit if 64 you need an update The publisher is offering an upgrade to a newer version.

ok i have windows vista so u have to right click on sound icon speaker then click playback n select conexant high definition smartaudio 221 n right click it as default n u gotta re load up acid then right click n insert audio
