If the dishwasher is leaking water there is no recall on that. the recall i believe you are talking about would be for the rinse aide leaking in the door. you should contact maytag to see about getting the new kit installed on your dishwasher and you may get your leak fixed for free since the kit comes with the door seal.
You can contact maytag at (800) 675-0535 do not wait and do not use the dishwasher. you will need the model number and serial number off your machine when you call. it is located near the door seal on the tub.

Dishwasher overflow leaks

There is no overflow. If it is over filling and running out the door, your float switch is bad. If there is water leaking out underneath, you have a leak.

Electroluxe dishwasher starts and once water runs it quits working and all the lights on the display start blinking and it won't work. Any ideas?

Dishwasher likely has leaked into drip pan underneath. Unfortunately, you need to remove dishwasher and flip onto back and remove 3 phillips screws that hold drip pan in place. Install "leak kit" to correct leak problem with this model of dishwasher. Part number is 154769101

Maytag mdb 7100/7160 stopped working (control panel no responsive). i am planning to replace the electornic control panel. is that an easy "remove and replace" operation?

FYI: In case you didn't know there was a recall about 2 or 3 years back on the panel itself. If you didn't get yours replaced then I would try and see if you still have rights under the recall. If so, they will replace it for free.

I watched the repairman replace ours and it seemed quite simple as long as you connect the wires correctly. If I remember right he messed up the first time and had to go back in.

Door leaking on maytag dishwasher model DWU82600AAX

Most likely the door got bent out of shape which appears to be common with Maytags. if you can determine which side is leaking bend the door in the opposite direction and it should correct the problem. Worked for us. If not then the liner on the door is most likely damaged.

We have a Maytag Model MDB7100AWB that is leaking from the lower RH corner. We have checked and repositioned the door gasket, and it helps but does not stop the leak. Any other suggestions?

make sure that the door is not hitting the surrounding cabinet or drawers. and check to make sure that the
dishwasher is not pushed to far back in the cabinet which will cause the door face of the dishwasher to hit the front of the cabinets and not seal all the way around,,

Maytag dishwasher won't drain after i repaird a leaky gasket

The issue is almost certainly with the motor. Possibly the wires that were accidentally interrupted, and if not, it is jambed. It has nothing to do with your replacing the door gasket if you never touched the motor. If it is jammed, remove piping attached to flange and loosen until you see the impeller. Rotate the impeller . If it turns easily, problem possibly not motor. Let me know.
