SOURCE: F3 error in roper model B9757XO

Hi. This F-3 code is representing a malfunction within the oven temperature sensor. It is open at the moment and unable to transfer data at this time.

You can test by Measuring the oven temperature sensor resistance, should be1100 ohms. If not, replace sensor.

SOURCE: how do I remove the oven door of Frigidaire Model

Hi.

You have to open the door all the way through.

Then remove the two locks from the hinges.Pull the tabs out, help yourself with a screwdriver.

Grab the door firmly on both sides, pull up the top of the door and slide it out.

Here all diagrams and parts for your appliance.

SOURCE: We have a double oven

Unfortunately this is a frequent result of a power failure. You should know that during power failure we often have also a voltage variation. This variation is burning out thousands of clocks - control board in many ovens, fridges e.t.a. usually is a partial damage on the clock-control board however there is not any solution but to replace it with a new one.

However in your case first in not an ordinary control of about $150-$200 but it is cost $407. In addition you have mention that the oven work normal so you should decide if you would live with it since the damage in only for the clock time or go on to replace it.

Here below we have a link with the parts layout of your oven in which you can also see the parts codes and the price of the control board and if you wand you can even order it.

SOURCE: There was a power outage

Hi, the oven is controlled by an Electronic Range Control (ERC). This is the clock assembly on the range. The surface elements are powered by infinite switches and do not go through the ERC. That explains why the clock assembly is flashing, your oven does not work, but your surface elements should work. You need to replace the ERC. You need to get the model number (located near the oven door or bottom drawer opening on most ranges, on the back of the console on some) so as to determine what type of ERC you need and how much it might cost you.

Concerning the user manual, it is not readily available online except you make a request for it directly from Baumatic on +44 (0) 118 9336 911

How do i reset the clock?

Hi Michael.

The specific answer will depend on the make and model of your oven. That said, in the majority of systems built recently, there will be a button labeled [Clock]. Press it, possibly for several seconds, and the clock display will blink. Enter the time with the keypad. If there is usually AM/PM, try either pressing an AM/PM key, if there is one, or the [ENTER] key, to toggle. Then Press [Clock] Again. That will likely do it.

How do i set the clock on Whirlpool built in double oven? Can't find a model number. 5 buttons from left to right. Alarm bell, clock with hand at 12, clock with hand at 3, + and - signs. Pleas

The model number is usually located on the side of the door or on side of the oven cavity area near the door opening. Sometimes if you have a drawer or warmer the model number is located on the oven side of the drawer or warmer (sometimes not directly facing you but on the side of that area. If the oven is electronic you press a clock button or you hold one of those buttons for a couple of seconds like a start or set button. The model number though will help you find a user manual and it for sure should be clear. I hope this helps you.

No name on the oven so presume it's a Europa same as the cooktop. It won't move off 0:00 with automatics on the lefthand side showing.

Hi -

I'm assuming this is an Omega/Creda Europa oven. All you need to do to make the oven work again is set the clock. The 0:00 and "AUTO" will stop flashing and the oven will work again. You didn't specify a model number, but you should be able to set the clock as follows:

1. Hold down the two buttons on the left-hand side under the clock display. One should have a symbol of a bell and the other, a symbol of a cookpot (not a cookpot and 'STOP').
2. While still holding both of these buttons, use the + and - buttons to set the clock to the correct time. The clock needs to be set in 24 hour format.

If this doesn't work, look for the buttons under the clock with the bell symbol and the cookpot symbol. Hold both of these buttons in and use the + and - buttons to set the clock.

If this doesn't work or your clock doesn't have these buttons, let me know and I'll check for other possible methods of setting the clock on Europa ovens. If you can find the model number it would assist me greatly. This should be on a sticker on the rim of the oven and can only be seen when the oven door is open - possibly at the bottom. The model number should be something like 40-1, 60-1 or 66-1.

If you can't find the model number, please let me know how many buttons there are in total below the clock and which symbols are written above each button and the order from left to right. I will then be able to provide the correct instructions for your oven.

Hope this helps.

My wall oven will not work. The clock is flashing '0:00 auto', I don't have a manual but the grill works???? Also tried pushing the buttons to set the clock and they don't do anything either???? Is this...

The clock will generally only be linked to the main oven. Can you comment on this post with the make and model and I may be able to assist with setting the clock, If the make is a siemens (as this is the section that you have posted the question in), follow the link below and download the manual to assist with the setting of the clock. All the best.
http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/quick-links/customer-service/download-product-manuals.html open link and then click where indicated to open manual search, then input model number (Enr number).

We have a Frigidaire Wall Oven that shows Err F3 - no buttons work. Model FSC88B-4 . The Oven temperature sensor measures at 1089 Ohms. There is 5 VDC on the control board. Tried resetting by removing the...

The sensor checks good. The only thing left to check the wiring between the control and the sensor. Check this for opens and shorts. If all checks good you will need to replace the EOC electronis oven control / clock. You can get diagrams and illustrations at www.appliancehelponline.com by entering your model #. All parts come with installation instructions.

Can't open oven door after cleaning

This is a really common problem with a lot of the newer ovens. I don't know the exact model you have, but most Jenn Airs latch code errors is F9. Here are basic steps to reset any model:

1) You might have the oven scheduled for cleaning. If so, clear that.
2)You also might have a child safety lock that was put on by accident. If that doesn't work, try to reset the oven cleaner for a minute or two and have it shut off so that it resets.
3) If none of the above works, go to your breaker box and shut the power off. Give it a minute and flip the power back on. It should reset the electronics.

On some models with the electronic controls right above the ovens, the self clean ovens get so hot that it sometimes damages the electronic power relay box that is behind the clock. I hope this works for you. If not, leave comments and I will go through how to check the electronics with a voltage tester.
