I have gone through the resetting procedure and the E27 disappeared. However, as soon as I turned the printer off and on again the problem reappeared! Help me please. This happened every time I reset it.

I wrote this on another help site I thought I'd post it here.

Let me just say this I have had many dealings with this printer type.

Before we start what needs to be done is that the two little filters under the printer carts need to be cleaned as well as the two little rubber parts housing the filters; wash these in water (after taking out of the printer) the filters should come up white-ish.

Also make sure that while you have the filters out to clean in and around that area with a cloth / tissues something to absore excess ink. After you clean this however you still need to service resert your printer.

The method for doing so is worded very badly on alot of sites so I will explain my way.

(1) have your printer power down ie. off, just to make sure pull the plug out and wait 10 seconds.

(2) plug printer back in, now Hold down the Stop/Reset button don't let go.
(2a) push and hold the on/off button

----at this point both fingers are holding down the buttons.----

(3) take your finger of Stop/Reset, pause maybe a second now press stop/reset button once and then press again and hold.

--- both fingers at this point are hold down both buttons----

(4) take your finger off on/off and now finally take your finger off stop reset.

---wait for the printer to go into its service mode ie. wait maybe 30 secs a min whatever till the printer carage has moved back into ints original spot.

---after this has occoured you should be able to press Stop/reset to cycle though the options

each time you press Stop/Reset Alarm and on/off should alternate lighting up. Hope this helps.

0 time Green Power off
1 time Orange Service pattern print (auto teste)
2 times Green EEPROM print (dados da EEPROM)
3 times Orange EEPROM reset (EEPROM reset)
4 times Green Waste ink counter reset (Absorvente reset)

Also google MPtool and downlad that this can reset your ink carts to full again, and can help with other errors, BUT your printer needs to be in low level mode. Google that I can't find that at the moment.

Hope this helps good luck

When it shows 0 just press Stop/Reset 4 times. Then turn the printer off (you may have to press power button twice to turn off) and back on. That's all.

I have a Cannon Pixma MP 150.I am receiving an error regarding the waste ink absorber. The Error Code is E/2/7. Is there a way I can fix this on my own?

This type of error occurs when your waste ink absorber is full. The first thing you ll do is to clean the holder and the cartridge itself, remove excess inks, spills and some dirts . Then reset the waste ink counter which requires lots of trials and tons of patience 1. Turn off your printer then press the Power button while pressing and holding the Stop/ Reset button.
2. When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button twice while pressing and holding the Power button.
3. When you release the Power button and the Stop/ Reset button, your printer will move into a service mode.
4. When the on/off lights is in green, press the Stop/Reset button 4 times. You will then notice that each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange and green.
5. Turn off your printer.
6. Turn on your printer.
7. If unsuccessful go back to first step and try again .
8. If still unsuccessful just repeat the above procedures until you get your desired result
