If you click on the TV button on your remote control. I believe that this puts the TV back into Digital mode.
You can also go to the Main set up menu to get into the various tuning options by pressing the MENU button on your remote. There are some devious little settings hidden away in there.
My TV was not showing that it had HDMI when I selected AV inputs...I eventually found that it was able to be restored through the MENU access.

SOURCE: Home cinema/Viera link problem

Turn everything off and disconnect from mains.
Wait a few minutes.
Disconnect HDMI cable.
Turn on TV and DVD.
Connect cable.
If this does not work use a cable of different spec.
I had the same problem and now mine works .
Good luck.

1.You may have the magnet of a speaker too close to the TV.
2.Turn off other electrical devices in the house one at a time.
3.Faulty cable.

Puzzler.

You should call for warranty service. If the set is very new try to get it exchanged.

There are some very heavy duty power supplies and many high power matrix drivers used in Plasma sets.

The description sounds like the noises are very loud. It is normal with any of these TV sets, if you put your ear right up to the back of the set at the vent holes you will hear some noises. These would be some acoustic harmonics from the power supplies and related circuits.

I am wondering if it is possible that there is something that is becoming less stable. If the set is working very well without any failure, so-far this is a very good sign. Before it gets to be a problem, I would have this checked.

On many models of these sets, they use fans for cooling specific areas. A bad fan can cause noise.

SOURCE: panasonic viera tv won't turn on. Power light

hello, you have a either your su, sd or sc boards fualty and it is a driver sos1 thats what the manual reads the best thing to do if your not electronically inclined or able to fix it is to get a service manual and make sure it is for your specific model and size you will find what the 7 blink codes mean, on my side i have a 42 in pana the service manual for this set and your is similar so since it is not the same model i cant tell you exactly what the truoble is but your best bet is to find a service manual find the 7 blink fualt then without getting ripped off you will know what the service man needs to do if you dont know or cant replace the parts yourself that is besides having to download firmware from your computer to a sd card and update your set but you need to solve the blinking code first it may solve the entire issue. the tv should come on when you resolve the blink codes or replace the fualty board or boards

Can't get it out of SAP mode. tried two different remotes. TV doesn't respond.

1. If you're watching TV via a Cable or Satellite box , then the SAP (Secondary Audio Programming) is activated in the box, not the TV. Check with your TV service provider how to activate/deactivate SAP in their box.

2. Only if you're using the TV's own built-in tuner to watch TV (you're changing channels by using the Panasonic remote for CH up/down), then press the SAP button on the Panasonic TV remote to cycle through the SAP options.

How do I get my Panasonic plasma tv out of power save mode?

Maybe you can go to the "Settings" and change it that way, possibly to "Cinema" if that is an option. Hope this helps you.

I have a panasonic viera 42 in plasma. It has a built in freeview receiver. It is in the bedroom and receives a signal through a booster from the main sky box. I can get free view channels on it but can't...

switch tv to analogue tv and auto tune on tuning menu making sure sky is on. It should find it around channel 69. If quality poor then change output frequency to a lower channel. You do this with sky menu and instruction book. Info is changing RF output in book, or google it.

Tv keeps going into standby mode

There are many reason for a Plasma display to go into standby mode. It is difficult to describe all here by this window. If you wish to get more details, check this link. It has details about the faults that can occur to a plasma display. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Pull up previous posts by its left sidebar, or type in the brand name and model number to of your set, to its search box, and press 'Enter' or view it in Mosaic / Timeslide option.
