My sansui pc/tv monitor isn't working properly when I connect it to my desktop.

Dell Dimension B110 desktop. The monitor works fine through the Dell and Windows XP start up screens, but after the XP screen, it just does a black screen. I can hear the computer loading, but nothing's popping up on the screen.

Windows is likely crashing while loading recently upgraded device drivers. The most common culprits for this scenario are video drivers.

The next time you boot, as soon as you see the Dell splash screen, start tapping the F8-key about once every second until you see a white on black menu. If you see the Windows logo, you missed it (try again, this time start tapping the F8-key a little before the Dell splash screen).

This menu will allow you to boot Windows in "Safe Mode", which will bypass any non-essential drivers and applications that could be causing the crashing. Select "Safe Mode with networking".

Assuming the computer booted fine in Safe Mode, you will be able to remove the troublesome drivers. You will see an informational message about Safe Mode, which you may close at any time. Right-click "My Computer" and select "Manage". Wait a moment for the Computer Management window to appear. Then, click on "Device Manager". If Windows was able to identify the faulty driver, it will appear in the list with a bright-yellow triangle. If this is the case, right-click and "uninstall" it. If it did not show up, first click the tiny white triangle next to "Display Adapters" and "Monitors" to open those categories. Then, right-click and "uninstall" everything listed within the two categories. Your computer will probably boot normally after doing this. But, try and find the proper driver for you video adapter before rebooting if possible. I recommend also re-installing the chipset drivers which may be related to the problem.

To attain drivers for your specific Dimension B110, visit the following link and enter the service tag code on the back or side of your machine: Dell Drivers

SOURCE: Computer vga cable/ sansui tv problem

Hello
Nvedia signals cannot be porcessed by Sansui Tv. You have tow options before you to connect your self assembled computer to this tV. The first one is try by reducing the resolution f VGA output. for that, go to Nvidea control [normally will be displayed at the right end of the taskbar] and chage relolution there. By default, the resolution will be 1024/768. Select it to the lowest; 800/600. If the TV display it, just advance it to the next highest; 960/600.
If this does not help you, there is no other way than change the computer's video card to any other, which works on Windows Video Drive. Can be bought from local computer component market, insert it to one amoung the free PCI socket of the computer and do the next proceedings to change over video output from on board video out, and feed this video signal to yur TV. OK.

Monitor goes from on to standby while computer boots up. Changed cord and cord but does same thing as soon as I plug it in. Any help

Plug monitor into another known working computer. If it does not work then the monitor has died a noble death. If it works in other unit then the video card of the Dell needs to be replaced.

Monitor

the original working frequency for that monitor is either to high or too low for the grapchics card inside your computer! Try the monitor on other computer and try to reduce or increase the working frequency! Or maybe is just you need a driver for that monitor to work on your pc!

Dell B110 turns on but no signal to monitor. Help.

If you have a short display of the devices and the blue screen flashes when you get to windows and shuts down ..than it is a hard disk issue ..God to bios and disable the ahci function for the hard disk bus..and let it run on ide compatible or sata as ide..This is happening when you have a hard disk on sata with ahci on ..and you do not have drivers in the system ..
But if there is no start at all ..it is a different cause and probably the video card damaged if it says no signal ..
Anyway check them all one by one ..cpu fan ..hard disk in and out ..(see if you can boot to bios ) ..and ram memory ..remove tehm and place back ..one by one to spot a potential harmed one ..

My computer won't read the new camera I've got. Even after installing all info from cd. Have tried camera and it works on tv. It won't let recognise the device on problem either. What can I do?

A camera that works connected to a TV without software is not the proper device to connect to a computer. Check again with your packaging and instructions.
Having a camera working on the computer and then porting the video signal to a TV monitor is the preferred arrangement.
Install the software, reboot, then connect a PC camera, it should be recognized and be testable on Skype, etc.

Blank screen when powering up

Hi

Check the power cable connected to the monitor.
If you have another monitor connect the same power cable to the monitor and see whether the monitor screen comes up or not.
if not then no problem with monitor may be OS is faulty
else your monitor is having the problem

Inspiron b110 wont turn on only green flashig

Unplug your computer, wait 30 minutes, plug it back in and try again.

If it still doesn't work, it's got a serious problem. If it isn't under warranty with DELL any longer, take it to a reputable repair facility.

My screen goes blank immediately after initial DELL startup image

You can either try to reset the BIOS, or have the restore cd fix it for you. By the way, what does the message say?
