Hi,
The F1 ErrorOn a number of ranges this can mean a number of things, the most common being a failed ERC(EOC, Clock assembly)or a faulty touchpad. Firstly if you are using a recent Maytag range it may pay to test the oven sensor as described above as this may cause an F1 error if faulty (may apply to some other ranges as well) this is not a common cause but is worth discounting. To check the ERC and touchpad
Disconnect the power
Gain access to the back of the ERC
Disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the ERC to the touchpad
Check nothing will short when power is reconnected
reconnect the power and switch on
Watch for F1 and listen for the beep
If you get the F1 and the beep this means the fault is with the ERC and it will need replacing
If after 30 mins you do not see the F1 error and hear the beep, replace the touchpad

What does F1 mean on my oven

F1 code for Jenn Air is related to the main electronic control board. If you can turn your breaker off for a few minutes then back on it may reset. If not you will most likely need a new control board. Depending on your model number and age there may be extended warranty on the parts, check with Jenn Air to be sure

I had an F1 Code on my Jenn Air WW2780B Double Wall Oven, and turned both ovens on to heat up, which they did, and the F1 code never came back after that... so far. Could it be fixed?

Hi, This code is an indication of a fault that exist within the actual relay board. It is malfunctioning at this time, and should be replaced asap, if possible. This relay board is located inside the unit, mounted on the cooling fan shroud. Once replaced, the F1 code will be cleared automatically.

Relay board part number: Y04100261

Click here to view an exploded diagram of the cooling fan shroud, with relay board attached. The relay board is labeled number 9, and the shroud is labeled number 1

Jenn-Air Wall Oven Model #WW30430P F5 Fault Code

I have the exact same problem with an F5 fault code. I also have a new clock assembly. RepairClinic.com said "Jenn Air fault code F5 = Hardware and watchdog circuits disagree / Replace clock assembly (also called the ERC)

Jenn Air Fault code for newer models F5 = Power to element relays disabled in cook mode
1. Intermittent oven temperature sensor or wire harness or,
2. Intermittent contact on power relay board"
This doesn't help since it is too technical. What should I do next?

My older jenn air double wall oven

shooter, F1 is usually the touchpad failure. You can try disconnecting the touchpad ribbon from the control and cleaning the ends with an eraser. See if the F1 stops. Catriver.
