Samsung model number rs21dcns. both fridge and freezer not working, freezer has defrosted and fridge is warm. had problem with the fridge fan but we defrosted the fan as frozen up worked for a couple of days after but
fridge and freezer both not working now.
Either a control issue such as control board or cold control thermostat, or a sealed system (compressor and freon related) issue.
The problem is going to more then likely in the main control board which is on the back of the refrigerator in a little compartment this board is bad about going out if you have power surges or outages
Sounds like u need to replace fan motor
Check fan motor for continity IF none replace fan motor

If it froze up once it will do it again...
If it is froze up the pack panel will have Ice on it
Sounds like your defroster is not working.
Timer issue, or heating eliment. If it uses a light bulb to defrost that is EASY to see and fix.
Once in a blue moon the defrost terminator goes out and will not allow the defrost to work.
My money is on the heat lamp in the bottom of the evaporator. One drop of water and it blows it.
