Here's how to connect it tou your ps3. Mine works perfectly guys.

1. Turn your ps3 off without the USB key given with the controller
2. Make sure your controller is off.
3. Turn on the ps3
4. Turn on the controller
5. Press on the sync. button of your controller.
6. Plug the USB key into one of your ps3's port
7. When the light above your controller starting to flash slower, just pess the home button and your controller will be sync.

You can't turn on the ps3 with this controller. So turn it on manually than press the home button of the controller to turn the controller on.

If my post doesn't solve your problem, I really don't know how to solve it. I managed to connect mine so I hope it'll be the same for you!

Sorry for my bad English folks! You know... french people =S

If you turn on the PS3, then Turn on the Controller, then hold the sync button, then plug in the usb fob, then when the flashing lights slow down push the home button it works just as intended. Once synced the home button works just like a blue-tooth controller...
THATS how i got mine to finaly sync i was almost about to return it
take care

I just bought this controller.. i got it to work by doing the steps the only thing is that its tricky when pairing it. don't plug the usb in first.. turn on the controller press sync it will flash rapidly then push in the usb adapter the flashing should go out for a few then flash(all 4 leds') let it flash twice then press the home button.. it should sync then.. the only thing is once it goes into power save mode you have to do this again.. if you turn it off you have to do this again.. if i figure it out more i'll post it here..

Can't connect orb controller to ps3

Plug the dongle in to the USB port, turn on the PS3 and the LED will flash a lot (as if you've pressed the connect button), then press L3 and SELECT together for 3 seconds; it'll then connect. Then press the PS button.
As long as you keep the dongle plugged in, the controller will not disconnect and won't need pairing again.

It will not connect to my new ps3. Worked great on my other ps3

To make a controller work with a new PS3, you need to plug it in with a USB cable before it can be used wirelessly.

My INTEC Turbo Shock 3 Controller is not working i asked my friend i followed to instructions it did not help please help as soon as possible Thanks Peter

I have the same problem. I disconnected the key, plugged the controller with its original cable. Turned the PS3 on, turning controller on, pressing Sync, connecting the key in PS3. At that state, the 4 leds start to flash slower as it detects the key. Problem is I can never connect to console. I mean I press Home and it never connects. Its been working fine before I updated PS3 to 3.5 version.

Controller won't set after pressing home button. Just keeps blink

Connect it to the PS3, then power off the PS3. When you power it back on, that usually takes care of that for me
