HOW do I get rid of the infolink that keeps popping up on the screen
I have had our samsung and hate this too. I just finally decided to figure this out today. I had originally connected the infolink to connect to the internet for updates. What you will need to do if you still have the problem is either. 1. Click on the remote button that says INFO.L towards the bottom middle just below the red, green, yellow, and blue buttons. Or 2. by clicking menu then scrolling down till you get to the wiselink tap the arrow to the right then down to the infolink. Once you are on the infolink wait till it completely loads, it will show Connecting Infolink..... Then it should be on the setup icon click the center enter button on the remote. Then click on the Auto Launch and put it on the off position because it is set to on right now.
Off in the settings the close caption.

You should be watching your dvd's on an input and not on tv analog 3. Every time the tv "senses" a signal change in the audio that screen will pop up. Connect the DVD player to the tv by using either the red, white and yellow (composite) connections or using the green, blue, red, white and red (component). Once you are on an actual input that box will stop popping up.

THE SWITCH BEHIND THE MENU BUTTON ON THE TV IS MOST LIKLY DOING YOU IN
SOURCE: The channel information/display won't stop popping up every few seconds.
What you all need to do is get away from a coax cable connection. If you have a cable box, or satellite box, take the coax cable off and use red, white, n yellow rca composite cables to connect your recievers to the tv. if you dont have a cable box, either get one, or get a converter box and use a tuner outside of the tuner within the unit. The tuners in those tv's are built to show you when you experience signal fluctation(which is normal with a coax cable) and thats why the box keeps popping up on its own. good louck to you all with this problem

Since it is brand new then should be OK.
Please return it to store and get another TV.
