The owners manual shows a AC fuse for the 8300 as 8amp / 250 volts but doesn't show an external fuse holder for the 8600d. It's unlikely that the 8300 would use a 8amp and your 8600 a 1.6 amp. Double check your original fuse values.

Where is the fuse located in the Marshall amplifier mg100dfx

The fuse in a Marshall MG100DFX amplifier is located on the rear panel of the amplifier, near the power cord.
To access the fuse, you will need to unplug the amplifier from the power source, and then locate the fuse holder, which is a small, cylindrical component with a cap that screws off. The fuse holder should be labeled with the appropriate fuse rating for your amplifier.
Once you have located the fuse holder, you can unscrew the cap and remove the old fuse. You can then replace it with a new fuse of the same rating, and screw the cap back on securely.
It's important to note that if your amplifier blows a fuse, it may be an indication of a more serious issue, such as a short circuit or a problem with the power supply. If you replace the fuse and the amplifier continues to blow fuses, it may be necessary to have it serviced by a professional technician.

Why would my iron heart Lainey 212 combo amp combo be blowing fuses?

Because some component in the amp is failing/failed and drawing too much current. The amp needs a repair shop. Poking around without knowing what you're doing can expose you to leather voltage. Don't do it.

Peavey tnt 115 blowing fuses

your either overloading something cause that's what pops fuses. My guess is that what your plugging in or into has a ground issue. I'm wondering if it does it with nothing plugged in at all. I would say if you have nothing in and it does it, you need to find where the ground issue is. that's my best guess

Why my Marshall amplifier immediately blows fuses?

It could be a failed power supply capacitor, it could be a shorted speaker, it could be a shorted cable. It might also be a conductive piece of trash in just the wrong spot on the circuit. They would be the big ones of about 5000 microfarad give or take a few hundred microfarads.

Though a little less likely, there could be a short of failed component in the output stage.of the amp.

Is there a fuse in this amp? is it replaceable without soldering?

Hi, blowing a fuse in an amplifier is a problem that most guitarists face at one time or another. If an amp won't turn on, or it turns on for a second, then makes a popping sound and turns off, the problem is usually a blown fuse. Though a blown fuse can be a hassle, especially during a performance, it does not have to put a stop to your musical enjoyment. With a spare fuse you can be back jamming to your favorite tunes in no time flat.

Things You'll Need

Fuse.

Instructions

Turn off the amplifier and unplug it from the wall.

Locate the fuse, which is usually found at the back of the amp. The fuse will look like a small black wheel sticking out of the amp with a number and the letter V next to it. For example, 9V.

Gently turn the fuse counter-clockwise to remove it from the amp.

Discard the old fuse.

Insert the new fuse into the empty fuse slot and turn it clockwise until it is firmly in place.

Plug in the amplifier; make sure the power switch is in the off position.

Turn the amplifier on to make sure the new fuse is working properly.

Hope it helped..

Hi im in Argentina and i accidentally pluged in my amp without an adapter now it doesnt work what needs to be fixd?

The power supply is blown. Argentina is 220V I believe. I have never seen a power supply schematic for this however being that it is low power it is a linear supply not switching. Either the rectifier diodes are blown out or possibly the output capacitors are blow due to approx double voltage. If you try this yourself be careful otherwise get a new amp. Good Luck
