Digital Control (for oven temp and clock adjustment) not working

My problem with GE Spectra XL44 gas range/oven is that I cannot raise the temperature setting to higer than 350 degrees. The digital control for raising ("+" button) numerical settings doesn't seem to be working, either for clock adjustment or for raising temp setting. When I press "BAKE" button to use the oven, I see the temp setting at 350 degrees. As I press "+" button to raise the temp setting to say 400 degrees, The "+" button simply does not cooperate and I cannot raise the temp setting. I have no problem lowing the temp setting by pressing "-" button, though. In short, the "+" button seems to be DEAD!!

After "SF" apeared, I pressed broil pad, expecting to see C or F. However, I saw no response (No C or F).
Again afer "SF", I pressed "+", and saw no response (this was no big surprise, for I have never seen any reaction from pussing "+" since the problem was discovered). I pressed "-" and saw numbers go down to 4, to 3, 2, and finally to 1 (Now I cannot go back up; kind of stuck at 1). As to the cables, everything looked very clean. I removed 5 or 6 pin connector and plugged it back in. I saw no obvious ribbon cable that I might be albe to clean. No change in problem status ("+" seems dead)...

    BINGO!!!
    Good News!
I think I have the unresponsive "+" pad problem resolved. I figured that I had little to lose in applying some physical force(bump) to "+" pad.
So I touched "+" pad with permament marker, and
gave a little punch to the end of the marker with the heel of my palm. And Voila!
The numbers started going up !!!
Thank you Mr. Catriver for all your attempt at helping me, and finally inspiring me to punch the key!!

I replaced the temp sensor less than a year ago because the temperatures were way off. Everything worked fine. Now when I turn on the oven it will only get to about 180 degrees. Could it just be another bad sensor or could it be something in the ecr/clock?

Puzzeled, usually when there is a stuck or shorted keypad there will be an error code. First let's see if we can tell if we are in Centigrade or Ferenhiet. Press the bake and broil button together for 2 or 3 seconds. SF should appear in the display. Press the broil pad again and C or F will be displayed. Toggle to F and press start. See if that was the problem. If not try to increase the speed of the + and - keypads. Press bake and broil together for 2 seconds until SF displays. Press the + keypad increase the speed of the control. It should toggle from 1 to 5, 5 being the fastest. Press start and see if that works. If niether works..then have someone remove the keypad ribbon cable from the control board and clean the ends with an eraser. See if that solves the issue...Catriver..post back and let me know.

The oven of GE Profile range simply stopped igniting

If it is a ge it would have a glow bar ignitor, either a flat rectangle shaped or a round ignitor. That is want the problem is 95% of the time. It is pretty easy to do. The floor of the stove will come right out and it probably has two screws in the back corners you can see. Remove them and the floor will lift out and you can see the burner and the ignitor.
