All lights flash like crazy on powering up; diagnostic says "turn power off & on"

I have an HP aio 7710, actually, and today i unplugged it for awhile. when i plugged it back in (it plugs into a power strip that has a surge protector, btw), the display flashed up the normal "self-test" msg for a couple seconds, then all the LEDs went nutso, all flashing very rapidly, and the display said "turn power off, and on again." well, i tried that, but it wouldn't actually turn off--it would only repeat that same cycle again & again. i tried unplugging & replugging several times; same thing. is there any sort of "reset" button or procedure for this, or am i screwed? Thanks!

HP AIO only comes up to OSD Window

3UR17AA <<<??? 2 years old?
so the screen is 100% dead, after OSD?
the bios hot key is dead.? forget windows, what about BIOS pages.

this AIO has and option of GPU card, does hit have that?

I guess you mean OSD name for bios?
OSD is only inside monitors.external.
or OSD means the HP splash screen
F2 diagnostics work? and pass per the HP manual?
page 41
removing that coin cell first. was a bad idea, now all bios setting are lost, and now must be replaced, bit by bit.
power on the PC and hammer esc. key
this is the bios hot key, and then see the other keys prompted
F2 is diagnotics

the manual is crazy hard to understand, (even show things that do not exits)

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-all-in-one-pc-32-a1000i/32482438/model/35865675/manuals

HP offers no service manual here. sad that.
better Esc + F2 diag, in order.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-all-in-one-pc-32-a1000i/32482438/model/35865675/document/ish_3974055-5915181-16

this fake desktop AIO, has huge 280 watt power brick pack/.
that must be only used for this PC and not mixed up with others.
and connections checked to it, carefully

but the ESC key i first, if this makes BIOS work then we work from there as did kill all BIOS settings at coin pull.
and the 2 year old coin was good.
good cluck fixing any AIO PC.

this the ESC menu. HP classic.
f2 is first. diag
then if diag passes
next is F10
we then , in the F10 main bios pages do this.
do the bios reset. to factory defaults.
then set time and date
and any instances of PXE to off (disabled)
last the boot order pages, set to windows manager, first this new name means boot drive, (UEFI)
save
exit and cold boot the pc POWER BUTTON HELD FOR 10 Seconds and released.
FIY, the F11 key is the windows 10 reload image, feature. (avoid this on a 2 year old PC, windows is ok but bios settings are lost.

Power light on computer flashes..tried the trouble shooting advice w no results. Bestec power supply model atx 250-12z. Unplugged computer to clean and now wont turn on..No fan no nothing..Just a green...

If you didn't accidentally unplug the four pin connector near the CPU, you need to replace the power supply. This is actually a fairly common occurrence with the cheap ATX power supplies being tossed into systems these days.

Hi, when a cell phone battery works fine as you said and the cell phone does not come on, it is usually a fault from the board of the phone which the memory of the cell phone.

When the memory of the phone dies, the phone will not be able to power up by itself..

To restore by the phone to it's normal state, you will need to power up the phone by flashing the phone memory that was died..

Flashing the phone will make the phone power on and work normal again.

Computer will not turn on....how do I check to see if power supply is faulty? I have power supply removed and have a tester to check for dc voltage etc

I just went through a heap of troubleshooting with power supply issues before swapping psu's and finding this was the solution to my problem. Had a closer look at my psu that was faulty, the green light was flashing on the psu, unplugged all components and thought that I now had a non-flashing green light on my psu, on closer inspection the light was actually flashing very fast so appeared to be an almost solid light...the psu was stuffed so replaced it and no more issues. If your power supply has a green light check to see if it is flashing when plugged into voltage with nothing connected to it. If it is a solid light then it is probably ok.

All the lights on my HP 1350 printer are blinking and it will not print. Normally where you could put the number of copies i " E" is in thaat spot.

In addition to providing information about current tasks, the lights on the front panel can also indicate error conditions, as described in the table below:
If the On light, Check Print Cartridge light, Check Paper light, and Start Copy, Black and Start Copy, Color lights are all flashing, do the following:
1 Verify that the front-panel overlay is attached to the HPPSC.
2 Turn your HPPSC off and on by disconnecting the power cord and reconnecting.

Alternatively,

All ights blinking: An error caused the HPPSC to stop functioning.

2 Restart your computer.
3 If the problem is not corrected, unplug the HPPSC and plug it in
