The Vizio icon is there means the TV is working well. Only thing is that you are not getting the picture. Please check the video signal input cable and source. Try another input like AV2 or AV3. If that also does not work, the main board needs to be replaced.

My 47" LCD Smart T.V. was working fine last night. I got up this morning and I have sound but no picture. The VIZIO icon lights up as usual but I get no picture, only sound. From the time I turned it on, nothing appeared on the screen. I have already tried unplugging it for a while and still nothing.

My 5 year old plasma tv has sound but no picture what could this be?
No picture as in a black screen? or a picture with snow (noise)? If there is no picture at all (black screen) with no menu display when menu button is pressed, then it sounds like the y-sus and the z-sus boards are faulty..These are the boards located usually on the left and right edges of the screen. They are fused and these can blow, severing the supplt to the boards. These boards are used to deflect the electrical charge across the screen.
