Turn on your LG TV and ensure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device or computer.
On your mobile device or computer, open the settings menu, and select "Display" or "Screen Mirroring."
Select "Screen Share" or "Miracast" from the list of available options. If your device does not have a built-in Miracast feature, you may need to download a Miracast app from the app store.
Your LG TV should appear on the list of available devices. Select it to establish a connection.
Once connected, your mobile device or computer's screen will be displayed on the LG TV.
Note that the steps may vary slightly depending on the specific model of your LG TV and your mobile device or computer's operating system. If you encounter any issues, you may want to consult the user manual or contact LG customer support for assistance.
There could be a few reasons why your TV/DVD combo is not displaying closed captions (CC) but subtitles are working fine. Some possible causes include:
The CC feature is not enabled on the TV or DVD player. Check the settings on both the TV and the DVD player to make sure the CC feature is turned on.
The CC feature may only be available on certain channels or with certain types of programming. Check to see if the CC feature is available on the channel or program you are trying to watch.
The CC feature may not be compatible with the type of DVD you are trying to play. Some DVDs may not include CC information or may have different CC options.
The TV/DVD combo may be malfunctioning. If none of the above solutions work, it may be a hardware issue and you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
It's important to note that CC and subtitles are different things. CC is closed captions which is a text version of the audio that appears on screen while subtitles are a text version of spoken dialog in the same language as the audio. Make sure you are looking for the correct feature.
Parental control is one of the features available on roku. This feature restricts the children to access the movies and TV shows based on the rating of the movies and TV shows.
Roku doesn't provide any true parent controls. But the parental control workaround is simpler one. Only a few channels on roku have the parent control. Such channels are Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, and Redbox.
Initially, you have setup your roku account and add the channels from the channel store by using the PIN.
1.Sign in to your roku.com/link account.
2.Click the update button which is next to the PIN reference.
3.Then choose the choice "A PIN is required when using your Roku account to make the purchase or add any item from the Channel Store."
4.Put the 4-digit PIN and save the changes. After that, you can watch the channel by installing them from the roku channel store.
After finishing the watching the channels delete it.
If you deleting the paid channels means there are no issues because you need not pay again for reinstall. For re-install it you have to sign in again.
For some channels which have parental control, that doesn't require to delete the channel after watching.
If you want more information about the roku call 1-844-965-4357 to get instant help.
If you are talking about the words spoken on the TV program being displayed on the TV screen as text, then this feature is called CLOSED CAPTIONING.
Most remote controls have a button called CC, or CAPTION, or INFO, or DISPLAY which will allow you to disable the CLOSED CAPTIONING feature.
Otherwise you may have to select the MAIN MENU option for your set and go into the AUDIO OPTONS or FEATURES menu. If you can find the Closed Caption settings in there, then just disable them there by setting them to OFF.
If you can provide the exact brand and model number of your TV, then we can certainly provide you with more specific instructions on how to disable that feature on your particular set.
If you have a cable or satellite set top box, then also make sure that the Closed Captioning is not being generated by that device instead of by your TV. Make sure the Closed Captioning is disabled on that set top device as well if applicable.
Prior TV sets acquired available signals discoverable on channal transmission from various broadcast stations. Soon after the TV was powered on, the remote control was required to browse to acquire an display. The feature functionalities of preserving signals are unchievable without subscription establishements that provided the signals. Howver, prior TVs could retain the features of acquirng signal so long as the set was powered on. Recent TV were designed to suit the feature deffects. For example, recent TVs have auto scan a button feature that acquires momentarily every available signal broadcasting station placed on standy for display on powering on the device.
ok this may or may not help and here goes there should be just a simple display button to remove this feature but with these older model tv's i found an hidden trick when you take the remote apart sometimes there is extra pick ups on the board with no holes for buttons provided you would have never been able to access a feature not said to be on the tv? tricky eh? yes that means to get that next model up with more features they simply restricted your features with a limited remote access as my old tv didnt have display feature to have the capability to have the 03 your trying to remove until i drilled the holes in my remote and added in buttons from an old calculator allowing some tv's that never had a sleep feature to suddenly adopt it through this process also allowing you to change color of the channels showing up on your tv
I'm unsure of what this sentence means "i also cannot access tv channel through the main menu." Can you clarify? Have you tried unplugging the ac wall cord for a few hours then plug in back in and test again? If that doesn't fix the problem, your set will probably require servicing.
