Sylvania SST4322 32" TV Logo
Posted on Oct 24, 2012

I have a SST 4245 TV, without a remote. How do I get the TV to go to video 1 so I can use the Wii?

It was on Video 1. I changed the channel. Now I can't get it back to Video 1 so I can use the Wii. I don't have a remote or a manual.

To play videogames on an old tv PLEASE HELP

You'll need to switch the TV into Video mode. Most TV sets will have a button on the front panel labelled "input" or "tv/video," and pressing this button will cycle through the various inputs your TV has.

Alternatively, this button may be located on your remote control.

Rarely, no button exists, and video input is selected by changing the channel below channel 2; as if you were trying to select channel 1. This will select the video input on sets without a separate input selector button.

How do i play wii i have hooked up but do i put on certain channel or how do i get to video mode

You should have a input or video button on the remote, some remotes use source. Use that button until you get the right video source. Without the tv model it is hard to tell. If the wii is on, once you cycle through to the right input you will see the screen that the wii is displaying.

Wii help

Hello :

1:Insert the AV Multi Out plug on the Wii AV Cable into the AV Multi Out connector on the back of the console.
2:

Insert the RCA plugs on the Wii AV Cable into the input connectors on the TV. Plug the colored connectors into the following inputs:

Yellow = Video Input
White = Audio Input Left (or Mono)
Red = Audio Input Right

3:Once the cables are inserted and the Wii is powered on, you must find the Input Select for your TV to view the game (it is likely not going to be seen on Channel 3 or 4). Typically this is found by pressing the TV/Video button on the Television's front panel or remote control. If you have more than one input channel, keep pressing TV/Video until you see the display from the Wii.
If you do not have a TV/Video button, then the input could be labeled something different. Some other common input selects to look for on the TV or remote are: Input, Input Select, EXT, AUX, or a channel such as 00 or 99.

I hope this will help .

I need to know what channel to operate my wii on. I have a toshiba tv that is about 8 years old.

Try changing the TV inputs to VIDEO or AUX, using the remote or a button on your TV. If there is not a way to connect the Wii to the TV using the 3-cable system (Yellow, Red and White), then you might have to use a VCR or DVD player to plug the 3 cables into and then transmit the audio and video from the Wii using the regular cable line of VCR or DVD Player on TV channels 3 or 4. If your Wii has a regular TV Cable jack on the back, connect that to the jack on the back of you TV and select channel 3 or 4.

Nintendo wii wont work with older model of Sanyo TV

how are you connecting the wii to the tv...through the rca jacks?  If so, you can not get to the input channels by the channel button.  On the remote there will be a button called either AV, Input, AV Video, Video, A/V, Input or something similar.  Hit this button until your tv goes to the appropriate av channel.

Re: Can't change from Video

You will need the remote to do this. If you can't find the remote get a universal remote with a video or input button on it. The other set may not be the same model and has different features.
