I bought this because it had great reviews and now I want to run over it with my car. I have only used it about 5 times and it was just dandy until it wasn't. Looked online for help....figured out it was the timing and was able to adjust it. As soon as that was fixed, the feed dogs wouldn't raise far enough and the fabric wouldn't move. Seemed to have fixed that today but NOW it will only sew backwards AND it will only make holes....no stitches. I have rethreaded top and bobbin....blew out dust ( there wasn't any), adjusted top tension....tried changing stitch type and length.....and it still is bass akwards! Bought the stupid thing from Amazon and it's over 30 days so I can't return it. ****, I should have had my grandmother's old Pfaff fixed again.
This link is for the manual go to page 32 ,it sounds like you have it on button hole stitch witch goes in revers, you need to press button hole off switch.

Hi beelermary,
Do you replace the needle with same type as what you used before? If the needle fitted in reverse way it can't catch the thread from the bobbin, re-insert the needle again and turn it 180 degree from its original position.
