SOURCE: Stoves 900GDO Bottom oven door seal

The handbook tells you how to take the door off. If you can do this, do so and then clean/spray all the door hinge mechanisms with WD40. Remove the surplus with kitchen towel and replace the door. Operate the door a number of times to see if this has cleared the problem. (Over time the hinges seize up and the WD 40 normally eases this situation).
(Don't be confused with the air flow coming out of the oven from the cooling fan as this also runs along the top edge of the door).

My oven door leaves large gap at top when closed. lot of heat escapes there. can i fix that

You may need to open the door and adjust the hinges that are attached the door itself as well as the ones connected to your stove..

My Maytag stove. I know it's normal to feel heat from the vent on the stove top when the oven is on. But the temp of the heat escaping is sooo much hotter than it used to be. Do I need a fix ? Model...

The heat from your vent should be a little lower than what the oven is set at. So I doubt if you have a problem but you might want to take some temperature measurements to see.

Hi, 3 of the 4 oven hobs have failed to work on the 720ef. only 1 of them heats up now. when you turn the knob of the failed hobs only 1 out of the 3 makes the click noise but still doesnt heat up,...

Normally the 720ef is the oven, the hob is a separate unit and in my case is a STOVES 600G gas unit. Your unit may have a built on hob but the handbook for the 720ef does not detail this. In my case the hob ID is on the lower right hand side of the unit.
I think you will find that the elements may have failed but you will need to identify the hob to ensure correct replacements. Normally the element rating is on the base of the element. The handbook will tell you how to take the thing to pieces. It is possible that the hob element controls have failed but unlikely for all three or it may be a combination of both parts. I think you may have to contact an electrician to test everything to sort this out.

My stoves oven is burning my kitchen cupboards

If you could provide some more information, then I may be able to help. What part of the oven is causing the problem, i.e. top or bottom door. If the doors don't shut properly then this may cause the hot air to escape. If it is one of the doors, is it sitting square in the frame?

Where is the pilotlight on a ge xl44 gas stove I belive it is in the door under the oven well I turned the gas on and stuck a flame down there and nothen took off is there a certian place to put the flame....

In general lets be clear. The OVEN pilot is located under the oven door at the top of the Broiler. It is a small piece of metal just before the GAS safety Valve which acts on temperature so gas won't flow unless Pilot is lit,That's the OVEN PILOT.The stove's RANGE is the top burners where you heat Pots and Pans.It has either 2 Pilot lights that connect the burners to the Flame they are under the Range Top.Newer Models use electronic ignitions no flame. Please note if you had your stove/oven disconected or Gas off when you turn it back on there will be air in the line that needs to escape before you light. This is why in NYC when Utility Co.works on steet main the MUST re-light your appliances.Be Careful with Gas.Good Luck.

You will probably have to replace the oven door hinges.
This should solve the problem
