Remove the Power Supply cable to Y Main board and check the Vs voltage in Power Supply board.
1. Vs voltage is OK, replace the Logic board or Y Main board.
2. Vs voltage is NG, replace the Power Supply board.

The power supply is having difficulty. The typical cause is
underated electrolytic capacitors. I would examine all the caps
(round cylindrical cans) in the power supply and see if any of them are
bulged. Not a bad idea to just replace all of them with better
rated parts.
These type of caps have all kinds of specs. Not just voltage and
capacity, but also temperature, case size, and obtuse stuff like
dissipation factor. Most all power supplies use switching type
designs that run at serious frequencies (not the old 60 hz - more like
25,000hz) that stress out these electrolytic caps and many
circuit designers (or their cheap bosses) don't specify the better
parts. Replace them with the same capacitance, but higher
voltage, and higher temp parts (hopefully they will not be too big
physically).
Ya, I know you paid $$$ for this TV and they scrimped on cheap
parts. Yup, the more expensive a product is, the more pressure
the bean counters put on keeping the price down.
Hope Ya Fix It.

Hi, this is quite a common problem for plasma screens and LCD screens. The fluroscent backlight is more than likely faulty and would need replacing. The best thing to do is to take it to a service centre because there are no user servicable parts inside the plasma.
