If this is a Verizon phone then it most likely does not have a SIM card. If it does have one then it should be located under the battery. If your phone has a SIM card, here are the instructions for removal. Just reverse for install.

Hi Keith,
if you have knowledge of how the phone disassembles you can remove the screws in the back
and open the phone by using a razor bladed and popping the plastic lockes around the edge
Check out this youtube tutorial before you do anything. if you feel ok to do it, it's you phone.

You may have a bad SIM card. Tmobile may give you a new one or you can buy one for about $20. Then call them to have the IMEI number switched over.
