We had a power failure, and when the power came back on, the digital display was flashing. When we attempted to reset the clock, nothing happens, the self cleaning buttons do something, but the door won't lock. None of the baking/roasting/convection buttons work. Every time we push one of these buttons, we get the F30 message. This is a Frigidaire Professional Series, slide in smooth top range. Not exactly sure of the model. It has a warming drawer, below the oven.

Hi jacksmdmat,
Your f30 problem may be a bad sensor circuit. It may have an open connection or just plain defective sensor. Check the connection between the clock and the sensor as well as disconnect and measure the resistance of the sensor - should be about 1090ohms at room temp (75F)

Try turning the power off to the appliance for several minutes or un plugging it.

THAT CODES MEANS EITHER THE PROBE SENSOR OR THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL IS BAD. UNPLUG. WITH WIRING DIAGRAM AND OHM METER, TEST THE TWO WIRES GOING TO PROBE. IF YOU GET ABOUT 1100 OHMS, YOU HAVE A BAD CONTROL. IF YOU GET 0 OR INFINITY, IT'S THE SENSOR OR THE WIRES BETWEEN THE PROBE AND THE CONTROL

Hello - This manufacturer does not show to have such an error code for a wall oven. However the error codes F30/F31 indicates that the unit either has an issue with the oven sensor, wiring with the EOC or the probe connections is open or shorted. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
