I'm not quite sure what you meant here, but I've searched for youtube instructions so that you can follow along. You can also use youtube to find other useful step by step guide for scarves.

PFAFF When I turn my wheel my need moves but my bobbin cage will not move. What can I do to fix this?

Hi it sounds like the set screw has become loose , if you take the Bobbin cover off that's the plate where the needle goes in on its down stroke, you will see what is called the Hook it is this that is not rotating this is actually quite difficult for a beginner to set in the correct position as the tip of the Hawk needs to pass within a cigarette paper thin distance from the scarf of the needle, this is the flat indentation on one side of the needle. At the back of the Hook you will see a small screw it is this that needs tightening but in the correct position when the needle is at its bottom stroke as I have explained above, the needle mechanism and the hook mechanism are all joined mechanically joined this must be the problem if it is not set correctly you will have a timing

I need a sewing guide, basic , starting with threading

Hi! You can find manuals for Husqvarna Viking sewing machines at http://sewingpartsonline.com/viking-sewing-machine-instruction-manuals.aspx. Another place to look for an instruction manual for your machine is http://www.sewconsult.com/husqvarna/husqvarna_instruction_manuals.htm. I didn't find anything about replacement instruction manuals on Husqvarna Viking's website--BUT they have a neat feature called The Sewing Room that offers how-to-sew instructions. (http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us/3368.htm)

You can also take a look at my Hints and Tips about threading your machine.

Let me know if this helps!

Happy Sewing!

Which way to put the needle in the Juki, The

The indent is called the scarf.

The scarf will be at the 3 o'clock position and, if you look closely, you will see the hook pass the needle at the scarf.
