I have a Polysteel spa model vs120r and am getting an error message on the thermostat . I don't know what to do . Can you help me?

Your topside control is probably in need of replacement.
When the display is no longer working there is nothing to do but get a new one.

There are a couple of things for you to check.
Look for the heat indicator light on the topside panel. Is it on?
If it is on you may need a new temp sensor or hight limit sensor.
If it is NOT on the the pressure switch may be out.
Not sure why you are not getting an error code on the topside panel.

You'll need to remove thermostat. Firstly disconnect the power from the spa. Behind or inside the control box/panel where the temperature dial is you'll find the body of the thermostat.
This body is usually attached with screws or a nut.
You'll need remove the wires connecting to the thermostat. Take note of their positions and which terminals they connect to.
Follow the capillary (copper tube) coming out the side of the thermostat to where the bulb is located. Remove the bulb carefully.
Once removed you should be able to find the model # of the thermostat on the body. Also pay attention to the diameter of the thermostat bulb and the length of the capillary. It will likely be an Invensys or Eaton thermostat, they are common and easy to find. Let me know if you need more help on this.

yes just go to honeywell site. The address is inside the thermostat. Just pull the front part of the thermostat off and read the lable inside. Hope this helps.

What exactly is the monitor doing? Is it giving you an error message? There could be a problem with the graphics card however, I don't believe you've got the whole model number so, I can't get you drivers or specs on it. If you have the installation CD for the card, you can try a fresh install, which might not be a bad idea. I'd feel better about helping you if I had the make and model of your computer, If you have replaced the motherboard, re-check the model number and give that to me as well. If it's the original motherboard, I can probably figure it out. It would also help to know the make and model of the graphics card. If your motherboard has on board graphics, you should be able to uninstall the graphics card and use the on borad graphics. When you remove the card, if there is no driver for the on board card, Windows should search for a driver which will get you by, then you can update that driver but, again, knowing what you've got would help with the update. Don, I suspect the error message is the cause of your problems. A flow error is either real (low flow) or not (bad flow switch). Either way, you get the error code displayed. Always take the filter out of the equation first to make sure it's just not a dirty filter causing the issue. A sand filter can be placed in the "bypass" position or a filter cartridge could be removed. Restart the pump and see if the error code goes away. If it does, clogged filter, real flow problem. Clean / replace the filter. If it does not go away, locate the pressure switch, pull off the two leads and jump them together. If the code goes away, false problem, bad switch. Replace it. Rob
