The Spectra AF camera film packs contain the 6V battery that runs the camera. The manual for the Spectra camera is available here: store.polaroid.com/media/document/spectra_af_ug.pdf . See page 21 (page 29 of the PDF). Unfortunately, considering how long these cameras have been available, the film packs may be hard to find.
I hope this helps.
Cindy Wells (even new cameras with rechargeable batteries sometimes need a replacement battery pack. The battery can't recharge forever.)
There are several possible reasons. One is indeed the battery. If the camera powers on with a different battery pack then that would point rather conclusively at the battery. Another possibility is that the drop damaged or broke the battery contacts inside the camera. Another is that the drop damaged or broke something else inside the camera. First, try another battery pack. If you don't have one, go to a Nikon dealer and ask to try one. If the camera powers on with that, then buy a new battery and dispose of the old one. If the camera doesn't power on, then you'll have to have the camera serviced.
OK it's worth asking which Impossible film you're using, as they're selling two kinds. One being old outdated and repackaged Polaroid made film, and one being their new production run film.
If you've purchased the old stock stuff there's a VERY good chance those old batteries in the pack are simply exhaused beyond use and the film pack is therefore useless. I'd personally contact Impossible for support.
Hi there just remove the battery and fit the battery on external charger which is came with you camera pack. Or you can charge your battery throw USB charger if you have the cable. Thanks.
Yes. all three batteries can be charged by the vsk0697 adapter. However, the vbg260 is three time as deep as vbg070 and vbg6 is even deeper, So the batteries may not fit on the camcorder or may protrude outside. These will fit nicely for camcorders like HDC-sd9 (mine). Panasonic recommends a wait-belt-carrier bag for these batteries with adapter plate plus cable to use with the camcoders to avoid the original design weight balance of holding the camcorders.
Hey sue9268, I would first try cleaning the battery contacts. If this doesn't work then this problem is most likely caused by either a faulty battery pack or battery charger. Most retailers that sell cameras should have a charger that you can test your battery pack on, and if the battery pack tests out fine then you should probably purchase a new charger. Of course if the battery pack is bad then you should purchase a new battery Pack. If none of this works I would have your camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!
