SOURCE: my ps3 is saying my

PS# Error 80023017

Following on from the PS3 3.50 firmware update today, we have started to hear of owners having problems logging on to their accounts.

We have heard of PS3 owners who have updated their system complaining that they cannot sign in, and every time they enter their password are getting the wrong password message. We have had customers who have two PSN accounts and cannot log into either of them. They are met with wrong password message, and even when they use "Forgot your Password" all that comes up is an error.

Conrad Zimmerman of Destructtoid is reporting that PSN is going to have some scheduled maintenance today. This could be why users are complaining of problems logging on to their accounts.

The maintenance is expected to take place during 8 am until 5pm Pacific time. There will be a lot of users who are at work during this time so it will not be a problem for them, but for everyone else it will be somewhat of an annoyance.

I bought a used PS3 at a pawn shop. How do I sign up for a PlayStation Network account if the system only says sign in and has the old users email address in there.

From Google:
"From the top level of the PlayStation 3 Home Menu, go to Settings > [System Settings] > [Restore Default Settings]. Once you select [Restore Default Settings], you will see a list of settings that will be restored. Scroll through them and press torestore the settings.Jul 20, 2017"

If you search Google for: "factory reset a PS3" you will find only 1,920,000 other results.

Enjoy!

Ho can I access my psn account? I don't remember my email id or password?

If you don't remember the password you can, of course, reset it but you have to know which email address you used to setup the PSN account.

If you don't know the PSN account email address, you'll need to go to the web site on some PC with a browser and go to the account settings there to see if you can provide other information that identifies you to either let you change the email address/PSN ID or have them show you.

Not much to go on, and you'll need to do the legwork on the PSN web site outside of the PS3 console until you figure it out and then you can go to the console and sign in with the refreshed credentials.

The network says i must change my paasword ,. but how do i get online to change it?

You need to change your PSN login info on your PC. Go online to http://us.playstation.com/psn/ and click SIGN IN on the right hand side. Enter your PSN login info. It will tell you that you need to reset your password, and it will dispatch an email to your registered Email account. When you receive the email (it may take up to 24 hours) click the link included. You will be taken to a page to select a new PSN password. It must include one capital letter, and a combination of numbers and letters.

Sony are either doing a maintenence update or trying to fix the latest update bug that is stopping people from logging on. It will be fixed soon so please give it some time and try again later.

I have the80022D11 in the ps3 what to do

Once this occurs, trying to load a save file for a game that supports trophies will give you the option to either start over (wipe the save file) or sync trophies (which fails). At this point trophies will no longer work and save game files for any game that supports trophies will no longer load. The only work around at this point is to delete your PS3 user account (not to be confused with your PSN user account) and create a new one (which you can link to your existing PSN account). Once this is done your trophies will sync, but you will lose all your saved games. If you try to restore any saved games you made before doing this, the error will occur again. The problem appears to be triggered if the user changes his/her email address or password using the XMB account management tools. So until Sony fixes this problem, users should not change their PSN email address or password.
