I recently purchased new 4 GB Transcend SDHC memory card.
My canon A620 works fine with SD card but once i put the SDHC card i get memory card error.
I have formatted the card on my laptop with file type as FAT 32.
Is canon A620 not compatible with SDHC cards? cause the same card works fine on my friends camera who is having canon powershot SD 750

same problem, didnt know camera does not support SDHC
Purchased SDHC 4 GB, SanDisk. Memory Card Error. Tried HP SDHC 4 GB. Memory Card Error. Will drop down to 2 GB based on last comment. Seems silly considering other cheap Airtek video accepts anything.
today
i bought SDHC 4 GB
when i insert this card in to my canon A620
it show memory card error
I'm also a happy owner of the very fine A620 camera. But I've also unfortunately discovered the hard way as you have that it does not support SDHC cards. Hang on to the card, you'll eventually find something else that can use it (mine ended up in my wife's SD1000).
SDHC give error or damage message when inserted into computer
worked fine earlier today. Downloaded my pics and then went to take more and camera says no card.
I just purchased the canon powershot sx50 hs. The manual directs me to format the memory card before doing anything else. It said I need to access the format screen but does not tell me how to do this. How do I access the format screen?
Bought a brand new SDHC memory chip and the camera will say there is an error. Sometimes it says the memory chip is locked even though I've made certain it is not.
