My projector is not working. Does not seem to be getting juice.

You say checked cord and power there, might be from leakage, check fuse, check units fuse, but if fuse blown, why? might be just close to usage so just replace, if blows again problem

Vidikron vision 40 2003 Power will not come on now and no power light. Occassionally will come on after 10 minutes after turning on but then shut down

The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the projector, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. Reassemble and test by turning it on. Search for YouTube video For similar problem on Runco projector. Very easy fix.

Projector is completely nonresponsive. Almost like it has no power. No lights on, etc. Yes, power cord is plugged in.

There is an internal fuse that may have blown. I urge caution however, as this fuse does not open without a reason. It is possible that a power supply problem is preventing the unit from starting up as well. Usually though, this would show at least a standby light. Unless you have previous experience with the repair of similar units, I would not suggest any attempts now. There are potentially dangerous voltages present inside these machines.

Please update this if there are any sympoms at all when you attempt to power up the unit.

Thanks,
Dan

My panasonic ae900 projector suddenly stopped getting power. No indication lamp is lit.I checked all the outlets and power cords.Could it be a fuse? if yes, where is it located?

there is 2 fuses, one in the power lead and one inside in the projector close to where the power cord enters the rear of the unit, the one inside is white in colour, remove the fuse and test it with a long nose plyers and test it with a multi meter, then you know if you need a new power supply or software

BenQ 8700 Won't Power On

As far as the projector goes, the ac power supply is fused with probably no more than a 7 amp fuse, that would blow before your breaker would if the problem were in the projector. The only thing that could case the breaker to trip would be a defective AC outlet socket or your cord for the projector is bad. I have seen cases where cat's have chewed though the cord and shorted it out and triped a breaker, outside of that if the projector is bad now then your thought of sending to the manufacturer is the best one.

Internal fuse

HI
Check that you use another power outlet, see that the power cord pins are clean, and not burnt or use a new cord, the connection at the projector makes a GOOD connection with the new cord.
You will need a multimeter to check if there is voltage at the inside of the projector cord connection. You will have to remove the internal fuse before you check the the voltage inside. If all looks good then you will have a fault on the circuit board-shorted component on power supply side or further in on the circuit(need an electronic tech for this).Hope this helps--Jay
