Kodak Easy Share 5300

I have a Kodak Easy Share. I also was using Publisher 2003. Everything printed fine from Publisher. I uploaded a trial Publisher 2007. Then deleted it and reinstalled my Publisher 2003. Now my Kodak Easy Share will not print from Publisher. It says it the print driver for Kodak is not found. I deleted my printer from the computer. It isn't in the programs list. But it is still on my computer, because all the other programs still print from it. I tried to reinstall the software and it says there is a problem and quit installing and froze from the CD. I tried installing from online and it also gives me the same message. I contacted Kodak and they told me it is microsoft problem, even though I can't install my software. When I go to the programs, it is in there. I put a student version of Microsoft Word and Excell 2007 on it and it works. any suggestions.

It is a software issue for sure...for uninstalling the software completely from the system try www.kodak.com/go/clear and to reinstall try www.kodak.com/go/downloads.

You need to update your Kodak Easy Share and your printer drivers or try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers .

The reason you are facing the problem is because the present drivers are not compatible with Publisher

SOURCE: 2 Problems: 1) Unable to get printer to print from desktop; 2) Kodak SW won't install on laptop

Download and install the new software and printer firmware from kodak.com (link below - firmware and software is the same for all the 5000 units). Do not use the CD, and Uninstall all previous versions before installing the new software you download from the site.

My KodakEasy Share 5300 will not print in black.

92b8b47.jpgThe Kodak AiO printers 5000 series and ESP series PRINTHEADs has orange protective cap that need to be remove to fit on the printer carriage. For the ink cartridges 7b91cbc.jpgthere is also a orange protective cap.
Issue that its not printing black and deep clean and removing the printhead and reinstalling the printhead (reseating printhead) is already done and still no black when printing. The printhead should be replace. For futher assistance call 1 800 421 6699 Kodak AiO printer support line

Hi,

follow the step by step solution from kodak.

Choose All-in-one printer and then Print quality and follow the further steps. I think it's a problem with your printhead.

My kodak easy share 5300 has printing issues. I

Try this one, Turn on the printer, Take out the inks, remove the printhead, put back the printhead make sure it will snap and you hear a click, put the inks back, wait for the printer to initialize, Press the Menu button, look for Calibrate printer, then print calibration page, then scan it after. Load a regular paper. Then try to print a demo page by pressing Photo and Copy at the same for 5 seconds then let it go. If same problem persist call this no for further assistance 1800 421 6699

I have the Kodak 5300 All in one easy share printer. Less than a yr old. Also a Del computer with Vista Operating system, Less than a yr old. About a week ago decided to take the time to learn the kodak...

try using the system restore option on Dell computer.........as you have vista,,,click on the start button and type system restore in start search box and follow the on screen instructions and select yesterday's date and proceed.......should help:)

3-Try a removal and reinstall of the printhead and inks
