It's a fully detailed guide on how to unlock any BlackBerry.
1. Insert any sim card
2. Turn off all of the wireless connections
3. Go to Options
4. Select Advanced Options
5. Select SIM Card
6. Hit menu select show keyboard (if your BlackBerry have touchscreen)
7. Type "mepd" ( you will not be able to see what you are typing )
8. Type "mep2" or "mep4" ( you will not be able to see what you are typing )
9. Now the phone will prompt you to enter the mep code
10. if you not already have the code, then i recommend BlackBerryMEP.COM to get it from .
11. Enter the mep code ( you should see "code accepted" )
12. Restart your BlackBerry .

As long as you have the Sprint 8330 Curve and not the new 8350 model, you should not have to do anything. Most CDMA phones don't need to be "unlocked". The blackberry curve also doesn't have a lot of branding either so worse case scenario after you switch to Verizon you can download the latest operating system version and install it and you should be good to go. You just can't take a 8330 to a GSM carrier like AT&T or T-mobile.

To unlock the phone try ##000000 and the send key . it worked for me . thats ## and 6, 0s plus the green send or answer key. always remember motorola almost always uses the 6zeros on all the phones to get into program mode.

If it's asking for a subsidy code, call your provider or visit a store. They can take care of this for you. If you are trying to unlock the phone and jump to another carrier, you may have to go to a third-party (non-corporate) phone store and have them unlock it with special software.
