How to repair Creative Inspire Speakers 2.1 Volume Control Wheel?

Due to dust or so, the Volume Control Wheel does not work properly. Volume goes to one speaker, and other gets muted. Vice versa. When I carefully turn the wheel sometimes the Volume works properly or sometimes with noise or muted one side.

SOURCE: Only 2 out of the 4 speakers of my Creative Inspire M4500 work!

If you still have the guarantee , then take it back to the buyer and replace it with a newer one and before you leave the shop try them there ! If that is not possible i'm asking you : What is your operating system and which service pack you got ? I think WinXp with service pack2 should solve the problem .

How to work my creative inspire 4.1 without volume control

It is possible. you can connect directly with male to male stereo cable. But careful with Volume, you must lower the volume in the playing device first.
The best alternative is
1. buy the cheap headphone with volume control or use Used old ones
2. Cut the Headphone Side and Solder the Stereo Male jack and plug it and Enjoy!

Hello, I am looking for spare parts for my Creative Labs Inspire T5400 speaker system. 1. Volume Control 2. Power Supply Adpapter 13.5v

robert_cobb

Creative used to sell the replacement volume controls on there site but I guess they stopped selling them.

So what I would do is select your product at http://support.creative.com/

Then click on Contact Us

Next click on My problem is not listed

This will get you to email support. Send them an email stating that you need a replacement volume control and powersupply. They will ether refer you to Customer Service or to the RMA department to get a replacement.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions

Sound through right speaker is not proper Creative Inspire M2600

This sounds like an electrical problem in the speaker circuitry - between the speaker(s) and the control knob.

Creative Inspire 5300 Volume Control broken!

For those searching the answer "How to replace/repair Creative Inspire 5300 volume control":

Its simple : looking at the back of the suboofer, the pins are as follows from top right, clockwise : LED VDD , Balance pot middle leg, GND, pots + legs, Volume pot middle leg, on switch input. Connect one pots ends to GND and the other ends to pots +, connect a switch on GND and on switch input, anode of led to LED VDD, cathode to GND (there is a 1,8k resistor inside so no external resistor needed)
