Hi. I have a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router, which has been fine to connect my laptop to the internet (although seems slow sometimes). I just got a Wii, but this wont connect to the internet. The Wii finds my wireless network, but has an error when trying to connect. Is there a way around this?

Check for the wireless encryption settings associated with this. If you're trying to join a network with "Open" settings to a encrypted network it won't work very well.

SOURCE: Belkin Wireless Router

Just plug this router in and use the ethernet cable.
now use the (e) internet icon in your programs list. you will get an "cannot connect to internet" page or something like that.
in the TOP search area eg: address bar ...type in the ip address:192.168.2.1
and it should allow you acess to the site.
remember....you need your broadband account info..

YOU NEED TO GET THIS FAR TO SECURE YOUR WI-FI SYSTEM.

SOURCE: No wireless connection

You need to have an Internet Service Provider. You connect the router to a modem from the cable Service Provider or through the phone line for BT. Then you can connect wired or wirelessly to internet through the router.

If you describe your set up in detail and tell me the Internet Service Provider I may be able to help more....

SOURCE: Bellkin G+ Mimo usb adapter - invisible

Use this tip as a check list.
Check if you set the correct SSID + Key and "connect if router is not broadcasting" set in your adapter configuration.
If you do not know Key you need to reset from Router.
If you missed SSID you can check on any PC when connected to WLAN and retrieve the name of NON BROADCASTED network

Belkin Mimo Router

If you're connected to the router with excellent stregth then the problem most likly lies in the routers connection to the internet. Check your DSL, Cable modem and make sure the connection to the "Internet" port on your router is good. Try switching out the Ethernet cable if nessciary.
