I downloaded yahoo messanger but couldn't launch yahoo messanger. its saying some error in the messanger. i downloaded four five times but couldn't resolve this problem. so could anyone suggest me something to get my messenger working ok ???

Dear Frank,

If when you try to install the program you receive a message saying that there is an error launching the installer, it can be caused by a file that was corrupted during its download.

Please delete the file that is causing the problem, download the Yahoo Messenger again and try to reinstall it.

1. Click on START
2. Go to ALL PROGRAMS
3. Go to Yahoo Messenger.
4. Click Yahoo Messenger.
   
5. Yahoo Messenger will launch. Sign in with your username and password.
   

If you dont have yahoo messenger installed yet, go to www.yahoo.com to download the application.

Your yahoo messanger is creating problem, you should download it from this site,

you just need to create your account there and search for yahoo messanger. This is appear a collection of yahoo messanger for you, just click on the yahoo messanger name link and read its description, below the description there is a download link. Copy that link and open a new window or browser and paste it in address bar and press enter. this is show you a Free User button, click it and wait for a minute, after that this will appear a download button, click it and download.

Go here http://messenger.yahoo.com/download/ click on Download Now, install it online....After completing the installation successfully you will see the Desktop Shortcut Icon, Quick Launch Icon etc. in its place...Good Luck

delete and download another copy of program you wish to use. Possibly the copy you have is corrupted

Try downloading the messanger in the safe mode...you can go there by tapping F8 key at the time of turning on the computer and selecting safe mode with networking frm advanced boot options..

First you have to uninstall the 9.0 version. Go to CONTROL PANEL----than go to PROGRAMS/FEATURES, or ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Scroll down till you see YAHOO MESSENGER. Click on it and than click UNINSTALL
