Toshiba Satellite l300 1ap windows 7

I installed windows 7 on my laptop a while ago and everything was working fine, it started to slow down a little lately and I've decided to switch it back to factory settings. I've tried all the usual Toshiba Satellite shortcuts and system restore choices and nothing will let me get my laptop back to factory settings. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

SOURCE: Set my Toshiba Satellite Laptop PSA60U-01W015 to it Factory Sett?

some of these systems have the factory restore option on post boot before the OS kicks in. From a cold boot look for the hit DEL or Fx key and do that - you may have to boot a few times to catch it, and possibly hold the defined key down in anticipation of the option to appear on what looks like a DOS screen. You may need the recovery discs that came wit the system if the image is not in a hidden partition of your drive. Good luck.

Toshiba Satellite A355-S6935 touchpad problem

That is normal, because the touchpad requires a driver. Windows 7, fortunately, comes with driver installation through the Windows Update.

Simply launch Windows update (Start Menu> type "Windows Update" > hit 'enter'), and select all the updates and hit update. You could also manually do it, by going to Toshiba's website, finding your computer model in the "support" category, and finding the appropriate touch-pad driver. (I believe it would be called "Synaptic Touchpad Driver").

Good luck!

Slow internet, gaming, everything.

Try Chrome browser, but Windows based systems tend to slow down with time. Specially with older and slower systems like mine. Try disabling startup processes. In Windows Start > Run (search in Win 7) type msconfig. Go to Startup and disable anything that you don't require to start. They will kick off only when you run the programs instead of utilizing resources like memory and CPU for the get go.

Laptop goes on some few minutes after being shut down.

you cannot blame windows xp because according to me it is such OS that it removes many problems of windows 7 and vista.windows 7 and vista makes your pc much slow and many features dont work but windows xp is free from these errors.actually you hear the sound but nothing appears on the screen.this is because your cpu fan is running which takes somes time to stop.may be some problem of the hardware especially the mainboard.go to any repair shop and just get it checked.

Need Updated drivers for Toshiba Satellite A105-s2717 with Windows 7 installed. According to Toshiba they do not support my laptop for windows 7 since it was made prior to 2007. Would it be safe to try the...

It would probably not install, you may want to try the vista drivers for your laptop though. 9 times out of 10 they will work on whatever windows does not automatically install.Go in to device manager and see what devices are not install, and just go after those.
click on the START ORB - RIGHT CLICK ON COMPUTER - GO TO PROPERTIES - CLICK ON DEVICE MANAGER.
anything not installed will have a exclamation point, just focus on that.

Window7 drivers for vga-vidro on toshiba satellite m45s165

Sorry, your system doesn't support Windows 7.

you might be able to install windows 7 in your notebook but Toshiba doesn't release any drivers for your notebook for Windows 7.

If they have release drivers for atleast windows Vista then it might have work out fine with windows 7 as 90% of the drivers meant for windows Vista work fine with Windows 7. only webcam drivers usually have the problems.
