C-13 read error

Could just need the lens cleaning. You can buy lens cleaning discs since the device is spinning the discs to read them.

If the DVD player is displaying disc error with all the discs, most probably it is a service issue..
Please use a cleaning disc and check if that helps.

try blowing out with air compreser,,disc cleaner ,,,,and also when it makes the snoise readind dvd,,pop it on the side ,,

After having formatted the memory stick with the cardreader on my laptop which runs on winxp I tried to use the stick in my sony dsc-p5 but all I got was the C:13:01 error message. So I tried to format it again but eith FAT instead of FAT32 which is the regular format on winxp. Now the disc adapter which I use on my desctop to read the memory sticks worked again with the stickt, my camara still gave me the message of not being able to read the stick so I removed the stick, got into the setup mode, reinserted the stick and formatted it with the camara. This worked, I hope this can help you.

The board that reads the discs is giong out, it is not readind the discs properly. Repairing it is sometimes more expensive than buying a new one.You did get alot of use out of it, right? You got your monies worth...

Disable, not correct disk, the disk in drive is not formatted do you want to format it now.

Please explain what you are doing and what happens next. Since you've provided a generic problem the generic "reset everything solution" is unplug for 5 minutes plug back in and try it out. You might physically inspect the try and see if a foriegn object has been wedged some place it ought not.

It's not recommended to format a disc in the Computer and use it in the Camcorder.

It seems that there is an issue with the disc.

The disc should be formatted within the Camcorder itself.

dvd not run and show c 13 70

When i switch on my camcorder, it won't let me record. Error C13-02 is dispalyed on the screen. I have tried 2 different discs and have had no luck. Please help me repairs this.
