if you install xp then find out the xp drivers in www.lenovo.com > select country > support and downloads > model number> etc. After downloading file >install the driver > after installation reboot your computer > after machin on you just switch on the wifi or bluetooth switch (near you laptop hinzes) and try it.

i hav lenovo 3000 y500 laptop when i try to charge its not gives any idication and if i press power button it just blow the battery light for thri four times

if the system is still under warranty,i advice you to contact lenovo because once you break something,it will void the warranty of the laptop,if its not under warranty anymore,what i suggest is to ask for assistance from a local tech since some parts of the laptop is so complicated
