Charging the battery on Jazz HDV178 digital camcorder

I recently purchased the Jazz HDV178 camcorder, I have placed the battery in the camera and everything works Ok but it does not indicate in the instruction manual anything about recharging of the battery?? Can you please provide information The Jazz camera didn't come with an AC charging cable, nor is there a power input on the camera body. How are you supposed to charge this LI Ion battery? None of the camera/electronics stores were able to help me.

I bought an NP60 battery charger through ebay. Ordered from a Hong Kong dealer, and it came with 2 batteries and free shipping, for around $20.
    The batteries work just fine.
I'm now happy with the camera.

I lost the cable to charge my Jazz HDV178 digital camcorder, ned to replace. Where to buy?

Hello there:
If you contact the manufacture of the device they probably will be able to help you locate the cord.
Also radioshack or best buy or a reputable electronics dealer should also be able to help you get what you need. ok?
hope this helps you out some..

Did you unlock the SD card or accidentally lock it again?. There is a switch on the SD card to unlock it. Try this and then let me know how you make out.

Charging the battery on Jazz HDV178 digital camcorder

Use the charger that came with it and insert the mini-USB plug into the camera. The red LED will flash until the battery is charged and then it will stay on steady. I left mine overnight the first time. About four hours the second time. Still don't know exactly how long it takes though.
