I have a 52 or 55 inch phillips magnavox ptv 805 rear projection tv but the color isnt right on it everything else works fine i can see the picture fine but its just the color what can i do

Thats a common problem caused by the CRT coolant needing replacement. The Phillips CRT coolant kit is available from www.tvrepairworld.com which contains the coolant and the CD with instructions.

HAVE PHILLIPS 60 INCH 5 YRS OLD GREAT PICTURE NO

Hi, check for any speaker switches around rear of set that may have been accidentally switched. Could potentially have a "hotel lock mode"
which some philips sets automatically entered after a set time (namely months) which limited volume settings. Your friendly local service technician may be able to help you out with that one

My colors all of a sudden went out of wack

Is there an advanced convergence setup anywhere in the menu where the screen displays a grid? If so, you might want to get into that and move along the grid to each section that looks off. Adjust until the color falls behind the gridline, and move on to the next. It can be a time-consuming process, but should take care of your convergence issues.
