I just bought an xbox last month I am in Iraq. I have it plugged into a transformer and i can watch movies and listen to music fine but after about thirty minutes of playing the xbox randomely turns off out of nowhere. It stays off for a minute or two and then it can be turned back on and then it only stays on for about another 5 to ten minutes and it consistently is doing this. I have changed plugs I have used a different transformer I even went so far as buying a new power supply. I am not understanding what is wrong with it.

Jamie, it is obviously something internal. I know the 360 has heat protection circuit which it sounds to me like your system is overheating. It is a common problem unfortunately. If your system is under warranty, I would get it RMA'd. If not there are several places out there that can fix it. You could also run your 360 upright if your not already doing so and see if it makes a difference (as they say it is the best way for keeping the xbox cool).

I have used www.xbox360repair.com before when my xbox started giving me the red ring of death. Fast turn around time and great service. It also only cost me $70, I would not hesitate to use them again.

My PC wont play album I requested.

You only need compatible dvd player software to listen to movie dvd disks. For playing standard audio cd disks, nothing is needed since this support comes built in-to the OS, (Windows XP or higher)

Xbox wont read any of our games, but the games will read on friends. We can listen to music or use our microsoft points to watch movies.

Sounds like an issue with the optical drive. I would suggest trying a different type of disc in the drive ( I think they can play music CD's as well as DVD discs). You might just need a replacement drive for it.

How to stream video through xbox

on the dash board go to media center
write down the 4 digit number and log onto the site it tells you
enter in the number
you will use the media center to look at pics listen to music or watch movies off any windows pc on the network in your house. If you have multiple computers in the house you can access them all with the media center extender.(your 360) it streams all this over your network. sometimes this can be a problem due to lagging. I bought a Western Digital 1terabyte (1000GB) my passport external hard drive and formatted it to FAT32 and backed up all of my music and movies off my computer to it. the external hdd runs off of a usb and doesn't need to be plugged into the wall so I can take it any where. it is a little bigger than my iphone. it works on my 360 and ps3 great. if you have xbox live download the "optional media update" from the marketplace for free to be able to play more types of video formats. you don't need a gold subscription to do this

My xbox 360 pro will not paly the music on my ipod that i downloaded from itunes

To listen to music files encoded in Apple's AAC audio format, your Xbox 360 console will need the AAC codec (a processing file), which is available as a free download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Hope this helps.

No game play

Try cleaning the discs, look at the settings, or repair the scratches on the game discs. (if there are any)
