    HI
    I have recently had the same problem, I started however with a few really poor quality shots like horizontal line superimposed on the pics before all the pictures now being completely white! However on some of the pictures there is a tiny area of the bottom of the screen that isn't affected. Video works fine.

    Hello cs99 I have the same problem. Has anyone found out the problem? I took mine to a camera shop and showed the "expert" (the salesman at the camera shop. That wouldn't send it off to get fixed like he should have) who told me maybe I was too stupid to use my camera that I have had for 5 years and I had probably changed my settings and they just needed changing back. We messed around with it a little and the pics started working fine. (Please note we didn't do anything to it to make it work right it just decided to start working for him and making me look stupid.) Brought it home and it started doing the same thing again.

My camera only shows half a picture after I take the picture on the little screen and if I keep taking pictures it goes all white? it's not the batteries. thank you

Hello - from a fellow Fuji user.
I'm assuming the pictures are looking OK on the PC when you download. If so this will be a LCD fault.
If NOT and the downloaded pictures are the same on the screen and the PC , then it looks like a sensor problem (CCD chip). I just did a quick search on the google.co.uk site and could only find 4 complaints , so it's pretty rare.
Try re-formatting the SD card just to eliminate that from the equation --

Plus there are S7000 forums to ask like http://forums.techguy.org/digital-photography-imaging/562485-fuji-finepix-s7000-problem.html
Hope this helps , but , if it's a sensor problem I hope it's still under warrantee -- Ray

Need - software for Fuji S7000 Digi camera

You don't need the software. Just use a card reader to download to a folder you create on your desktop.

Need FinePix S7000 Tripod

They [ cameras and tripods]all have a standard screw fitting.
So all cameras will fit all tripods.
The only factors therefore to consider is- weight[As it is a small digicam] you will not need a heavy weight one and the depth of your purse.

Best bet take the camera along to a store and try a few.
If it is not to be a surprise take Hubby too to try them out for himself. ;-}

This is a chip problem... My FIRST S7000, had this problem, and I had it replaced by Fuji {out of warranty}, now today, the SECOND S7000 is doing the exact same thing!

Contact Fuji at their New Jersey offices for info on how to get your camera repaired.
