You can download Minecraft mods here. To install Minecraft mods, copy the '.class' files from your downloaded mod into the 'minecraft.jar' archive (to find it; click 'Start', type %appdata%, open the '.minecraft' folder, and open the folder 'bin'; MAKE SURE to make a copy of the .jar file for backup purposes). Make sure to delete 'META-INF' folder inside the .jar file to avoid crashing Minecraft.

you have to have forge for your kindlike fore example a 1.7.10, you get the mod drag it onto your desktop and then when you open minecraft at the bottom of the launcher there will be a button named "open game dir" press it drag the mod from desktop to the game dir press save file and your mods are loaded. PS if this doesn't help search it on the internet

If you are talking about Herobrine in Minecraft, you can't. He isn't real. Well in vanilla minecraft at least. He is a mod though. Assuming you know how to install Minecraft Forge and how to install mods with it, the link is at the end of this answer. Tekkit is the multiplayer form of the modpack Technic. Technic adds tons of mods to the game that make it more industrial. Some of the mods include buildcraft, industrial craft, redpower, Equivalent exchange and many more. Tekkit has less mods that technic do to some mods not having multiplayer compatibility.
