Where can I find one? All the stores that say they have them, do not.

The return of faulty merchandise procedure is described, but involves the local store which you apparently know about.

Unfortunately, after you tried the local store, I see little alternative to either giving up and buying another model, or trying to contact the Dunelm headquarters instead of the local store to request assistance.

Try small appliance store.

There is no reset button. More than likely the speed control plate is bad. This is a common problem. I recommend storing the mixer unplugged and on the first speed. Also don't store it with the beater, whisk, or hook attached to the mixer. This may help save the control plate contacts from becoming sprung. [email protected]

This happened to me also, and it was because one of the beaters was no longer straight (bent just slightly, but enough). I found a replacement beater at a thrift store, and now it is fine. There were several replacement beaters at the thrift store... I'm guessing because many of the KA hand mixers are starting to die (the beaters don't 'click' in anymore).

Called the Kitchenaid toll free number and found a local authorized repair center. Not a fixya solution, but at least a solution.

You probably can--but you might have to contact the manufacturer. Most retail stores will not sell parts like this (and if they do, it's probably a store that will be something like a kitchen specialty store--aka, a little more pricey), so the best way to go is to contact them directly so that they can get it for you (and, a lot of times, they can get it for you at a cheaper price, or, if you're under warranty, and the beaters/dough hooks have broken, sometimes for FREE!!).

Their contact number should be either stamped somewhere on the mixer (usually on the bottom--might be stamped directly into the plastic, so make sure you have it in really good light when trying to read) or in the product manual (usually near the back of the book). If you still can't find it, you can usually just do a quick internet search (just typing in the manufacturer name--in this case, "Hamilton Beach"--and then "support" into Google usually helps).

I didn´t find it with google. Maybe ask the experts from manualfox.com - if they don´t find it, it does not exist.

Have you guys tried a second hand store? Could be mixer beaters are sort of "Standard" sized...

I just found the right answer.

1 Take handset of ( you can minimize sound with the slide on the side )

2 Press the black store button at top ( where the cord comes in )

3 Dial the number

4 Press the black store button again

5 Now press the memory button ( MEM )

To finish choose the M number you want it to dial from
